Is it worth taking in Bulgaria in an All-Inclusive hotel, or is it easier to eat in restaurants?
I gathered in Bulgaria for the first time, my friends said that the food in hotels is not very good, so it’s tastier and safer to go to local cafes. Tell me what to do?

It all depends on the resort and the hotel you are staying at.
Basically, all resorts have hotels with excellent food. If you eat in cafes and restaurants near the sea, it will be more expensive. If you look in places where the local population lives, it will be cheaper.

maybe you could recommend me a good hotel, but not expensive, preferably youth oriented.

My opinion, albeit personal, but SOLID: not worth it. I was driving, so in general I took breakfast only in order not to run awake in the morning and not look for food))))) Read my report about the hotel in Sunny Beach, maybe a hotel will do. Look at my photos of food in restaurants - and you will make sure that all inclusive - this is NOT an impression about this beautiful country with chic cuisine. There are many more of my photos on Odnoklassniki, so that you can present what you are asking about - search for "Biker_Lady, Kyiv" in the search. Good luck choosing! :)

I constantly support supporters of a varied diet in different places. For me, it is more interesting to eat food in one place for a week or two, like in the army or in a pioneer camp. Take only breakfast, you will not regret it.

and I had the experience of traveling to Bulgaria with breakfast only and all inclusive. and I must say, when everything is inclusive, my head doesn’t hurt if the money runs out at the end of the trip: you won’t leave hungry!): in general, I vote for “all inclusive” .. you can always go to a cafe if you wish. .we rested on the sunny beach in the Trakia 4* hotel, I highly recommend it..

I wrote about the same issue 2 weeks ago. The choice is yours. For myself, I decided to take breakfast + dinner. I read all the reviews, reduced the budget, dinner at the hotel restaurant will cost me 3-4 times cheaper, of course I will go to other bars, cafes (I am interested in entertainment), but I will take only alcohol, ice cream for the child. It's also economical and not boring.

If you are going to spend all the time in the hotel, then take the "all inclusive". But in my opinion it is better to eat in cafes - you can pick up food both by price and by taste. Moreover, "all inclusive" costs little money. Take only breakfast, you won't regret it. As for the cost in cafes, then you should not look for cheapness on the seashore, walk further from the sea. Dinner at a hotel is usually more expensive than at a cafe.

The taste and color, comrades - no! We have been resting in Bulgaria for 6 years in the private sector - it is better to eat in cafes! But there are very few of them in the Security Council, there are many restaurants and cafes in Ravda, but you can’t run into labor, and in old Nessebar it’s a little expensive. So, decide for yourself...

You are joking how few))))) They are there, like fleas in a cat)))))

That's why I wouldn't eat in them... We had a rest in SB in 2007 at the Imperial-4.5* hotel. There was a cafe opposite Amphora and Kotva, we tried it - not very good! We went to eat in the village of Nessebar in a Czech restaurant (there is always fresh Staropramen beer), but it looks so much like Kamenitsu...? In five years there have been HUGE changes in the SB, but we prefer the private sector and real tomatoes (Bulgarian and not Spanish and Turkish, as in all restaurants and cafes). And if you want Bulgarian vegetables and fruits for breakfast or dinner - go, every Thursday, to Kobleshkov, everything is there ... And for 3 km. an old man stands before Kableshkovo and sells excellent homemade wine...

4-5 years ago it is really better to take vouchers without food and relax in many restaurants in Sunny Beach (although in those days the center was expensive, for example we were in a variety show, could only take ice cream and a bottle of wine (paid a lot) , but I really liked the show). Now the situation has changed, pizza costs 6.5, and dinner for 2 people costs 6.5.

I meant dinner at my hotel.

there are really a lot of cafes and restaurants on Sat! and the food is delicious .. and we also considered the options, and anyway, at the exit, all inclusive turned out to be cheaper than all other options .. and taking into account alcoholic cocktails, we recaptured the rest !!))) by the way, is it an exorbitant cost - 700 euros for two two weeks for all inclusive?

I was in Sunny Beach six months ago. In the same variety show, they were fed a full dinner (included in the cost of the tour), you didn’t have to buy anything (well, unless you wanted something “extra”). The food is very, very decent (complex) during the show program "Bulgarian Village" + wine (you also don’t have to pay anything - just for the tour), and on a safari - so see for yourself if you are in the mood to go on excursions - taking all is completely inappropriate. They were taken to Sofia on a 2-day excursion with delivery to Bansko and the Rila Monastery - again they fed (except for breakfast on the first day and dinner on the second - but we were already driving "home").
More about prices. The closer to the center, the more expensive, of course. My hotel was on the outskirts. It was possible to take the first and second for 12-15 leva (6-7 euros) and at the same time eat up (although I judge by my female appetites - men, perhaps, would not be enough). inna_merko, I see you are from Ukraine. So, to make it clearer: on average, going to a restaurant cost me 50-60, well, 70 hryvnias with Ukrainian money. My friend and I often took one dish for two and one more dish for each of us - we ate enough, two dishes for each would not have been overcome.
