We want to go to Bulgaria in the summer, 2 adults and 1 child 2.5 years old. Please advise where and which hotel and when is better, in which month
Not tied to dates, for 2 weeks. There is no specific budget, but I don’t want to be very expensive, something in between. Thank you in advance )

I’ll also add that the main goal is the child’s rest, so for us, no bars, clubs, and so on are important.

And yet, everyone has their own “something in between”: some have an average of 50-70 dollars per room per day, while others have a hundred will be the average price ...

streltsovanatalia: I can recommend a good and inexpensive hotel (all-incl., children's slides, adult slides) Trakia 2**. The food is excellent. Near the center of Sunny Beach. We were there on holiday this September. The entrance to the sea is sooo childish)

Paradise Gradina! Sveti Vlas. This is the best place we have seen in Bulgaria. There is a hotel Rajska Gradina, but the prices are more expensive there. For a family, it is better to rent an apartment right there. A truly heavenly place. You live like in a botanical garden and the beach is great.

Consider the village of Kranevo. The sea and the beach are amazing! Housing and food prices are cheaper than in other popular resorts.

I was in the village of Aheloy, near Nessebar. Hotel Midia Grand Resort. The sea is right in the hotel, there is a playground. Quiet, beautiful place, I really liked it.

I want to advise the village of Kranevo, it is located between Varna and Albena, a fairly quiet place, family atmosphere, sandy beach, many street cafes, restaurants, shops. Inexpensive. Nearby are Golden Sands, an aqua park, Cape Kaliakra, Balchik and other popular excursions from there that do not take much time. Hotels from 2 to 4 stars. There you can already choose according to your taste and wallet;)

I also recommend Kranevo. Peaceful family resort.
August is the best month to visit. The sea has already warmed up and vegetables and fruits are in abundance.
In June, the water is still cold, for small children it will not be comfortable and cool in the evenings. It is warmer in July, but there is still no such choice of vegetables and fruits.

Kranevo is a very nice beach and minimal prices. The price level in Kranevo is indeed lower than in other cities on the coast, including neighboring Balchik. Personally, from my experience, this is the cheapest place abroad where I have ever been.
But, Kranevo is a village that is boring. There are no natural beauties to admire either. Personally, I have no desire to return to Bulgaria in general, and to Kranevo in particular, there is no desire. But, this is my subjective opinion. If you are only interested in the sea, a good beach, then Kranevo is a great option.

we were also in Kranevo, the Crystal Park hotel. The food was normal, several types of ice cream, the rooms were clean. We went to Albena on foot. of course, it’s probably boring for young people, but there are restaurants and cafes nearby.

In the Turmama group (#turmama) on Facebook, Bulgaria was offered a lot - in terms of renting apartments. So there it was from 20 or 25 dollars a day, there is nowhere more budgetary :). To go - if the water is warmer - then this is July-August, if there are fewer infections - from the second half of June. The issue of infections is important - this is the Black Sea after all.

Well, I'm sorry, I don't agree with any of the recommendations. I will explain in order.
Thrace. Yes, there are slides, but the building faces the road. The road is small. but the clatter of horses' hooves makes its way through the double-glazed windows. Plus, drunken screams all night long of people returning along this road from night discos. In the right wing, the stink of parked horses. I was in this hotel, so I know what I'm writing. Those who advised rested in September, this is no longer the season, and maybe they were quieter.
St. Vlas is a very hilly place, it will be difficult for a 2.5 year old child to walk. I do not recommend at all. I was at this resort, I also know what I am writing about.
Kranevo. Boredom, and there are no hotels on the all, except for the new one (I forgot the name). Those who want to go to restaurants go there, we were 3 times.
Aheloy - I was not, I can’t say anything, but I can assume that it’s a bit boring there. You need to read the reviews here.
My advice. It is better to go in August, but this is an expensive period. It is possible after the 20th, in Sunny Beach at this time it is good. Our favorite hotel is Tiara Beach, it's not cheap, but it's not the most expensive either. Discounts for early bookings until December 31st. Cheaper - Longoza. But in June-July I don’t recommend this hotel, it’s noisy from the Happy Land children’s camp. I have a review for 2017 and Tiara for 2016, they were also there in 2018, but nothing has changed.
Albena is a good resort for families with children, we are regulars of this resort, we have been in many hotels. The best for us is Kaliakra. Cheaper - Sandy Beach, Arabela Beach.
Nessebar is a good budget hotel in Kamenetz.
If you have any questions - write in a personal, I will try to answer.
