Has anyone traveled to Bulgaria with Riki-A buses? How comfortable are they and do they run on schedule?
Tell me, did someone travel to Bulgaria by Riki-A carrier buses? Interested in how comfortable they are and whether they go on schedule? I have traveled several times with Doris.

They have pictures of buses on their website. I haven't ridden myself so I can't comment on the level of comfort.

I looked, it seems like a normal bus, at least no different from Doris's buses, but it says that there is a toilet. I am specifically interested in whether the distance for the legs is comfortable, and whether there is a toilet there or not, and whether it is generally comfortable to ride if this toilet is on the bus (maybe it stinks ... or does it not stink?)

There is a toilet. But it will be closed. There are sanitary stops for this. Opens in case of emergency

"Opens in case of emergency" - for drivers.
Of all the carriers I interviewed, only Ecolines claims that the toilet is always open, without referring to "sanitary stops".
Since the toilet is a rather delicate moment, I advise you to get diapers (maybe for adults). But from experience I will say that the psychological factor plays an important role here, if you are not dominated by "what to do if ...", then "sanitary stops" are quite enough.
And the level of "comfort" for all carriers normal for Ukraine ~ is the same, good (?). They are obliged to take you, and comfort - how suit it will fall.
I note that Ecolines does not have charters, so the round-trip schedule must be maintained (I didn’t go, I won’t say). True, usually with him on the way only to Varna, then he goes north to Sofia.
With charters of the classic of the genre: there - more or less (at Albena-Drit quite clearly), back - yo-moyo (until everyone is picked up by hotels).
All in all, good memories!

The schedule is good, but it’s worth making allowances for the time to pass the borders, I remember my case when we queued at the Romanian-Bulgarian border for 6 hours, in the sun with the air conditioner turned off. I was also worried about the toilet, but in vain - there are enough sanitary stops .

Oh, it's "lucky" for you, so far we have been fine with the borders, although the passage time is generally difficult to take into account, either a shift change, or a queue, or something else. I found the difference between these routes - this is the place of disembarkation of passengers, or rather, recently all buses stop in Sunny Beach and then carry tourists further to hotels and resorts (this is what I saw). So, I just have bus tickets and a separate hotel, so I don’t have a transfer. Doris stops at her parking lot, almost in the center, behind the Mladost supermarket, but Ricky-A parks somewhere in the northern part of the resort - this is important when you get to the hotel yourself.

And I'm going on 16.06 with TPG. Stop in St. Vlas right next to our hotel.

Oh, I looked, their buses really stop closer to my hotel, but the reviews about the tour operator are simply terrible, and now I am writing and I understand that judging by the flight number, these are Doris buses and they don’t stop near the Grand disco anymore ...
аватар 19062005
Last year we rested right next to this grand disco. There is no longer a disco or a bus stop.
аватар Misterpipe
Well, reviews are like that. I have not seen bad ones confirmed by photographs .... But there are good ones. For example, I chose only tpg. I will be traveling by bus for the first time.

Then write how the trip went, and what about the buses, I have a trip in August, so for now the tickets are hanging on the reservation. Don't forget to take some pics :)

Oh sure. There will be reviews about the tour operator and about the hotel ....

We went by bus Ricky A. We returned to Ukraine on May 29, 2018. Horror!
The seats do not dodge. Bus for 60 people! Sanitary stops on the territory of Romania, which is 16 hours, are ABSENT.
THANK YOU !!! It is not necessary to buy their transportation. Comfort of level of a scoop. And the boorish attitude of the group leader is not pleasantly surprising.
Ricky A is awful!

Oh thank you for your feedback!

I do not advise!!! They only have 5 buses, there are not even reviews on the site, very strange. The trip to Bulgaria was very difficult, they don’t let you use the toilet on the bus, only stops, food is not included, only water was given, and then only when we went to Bulgaria. The seats don't fold down, you ride while sitting, the footrest is broken. We were late for 8 hours, we drove for almost 2 days with a change in the city of Obzor on a broken bus. We were taken back from Chernomorets 3 hours late, waited for them in the downpour with children, after again with a transfer to Obzor, they put us on a non-working bus, since our regular bus was broken and we were told to wait until it was repaired, and so we are 20 th children sat in this bus for another 2 hours. There is no toilet at the base either, the bus station itself is not equipped in any way, dirt is everywhere, especially after a particular downpour. The hostess Ani-rude arrived, we presented the situation in which she keeps the children and why the bus had not been repaired before! A bus with children left in front of us, it was heading to Kyiv through Odessa, on which we were brought to Obzor, on the road after the border in Romania this bus overturned due to the fault of the driver, 49 children were standing on the highway at 2 am. I advise you to avoid Riki if you want to stay alive!

Wow! It's just tin!

terrible carrier. I advise you to bypass. the seats are uncomfortable, there is very little space, sanitary stops are about once every five hours, at the request of the driver (there was such an impression). We left for Bulgaria on time, we also arrived approximately on schedule, which took into account about five hours at the border, but the driver was driving very quickly and extremely carelessly, it was normal to skid around corners. but the bus went back three hours late, then stopped at the base, stopped at the camp for the children, deviating very much from the course, there was confusion with the places, at the bus stop where they were supposed to go to the toilet, they simply didn’t let me out of the bus, no food, no water, only buy or take something with you.

The Kyiv-Bulgaria bus is a horror. No toilet, no wifi, no TV. The distance between the seats is very small, the legs rest against the back of the neighbor. If you recline the back in front, it will lie on your knees. The driver Vasily said that this is a scheduled bus!!! This is not comfort, but a regular bus. Riki A. I do not recommend!!!

I do not recommend!!!!! The bus is terrible, it is not comfortable, the seats are placed close to each other, there is nowhere to put your legs - horror! During the trip, you felt constant discomfort, the driver started being rude from the first seconds, I quote the words: "If you don't like something change your bus." I am already silent about the situation when the bus in Ivano-frankivsk started to smoke, and when asked, the driver from our side just shouted. It turned out that the bus was missing an important part, so we spent more than 3 hours under the scorching sun. The worst and it is impossible to come up with. If this situation had happened for the first time, perhaps there would have been a different reaction, but my grandmother came across the same situation 10 years ago, from this you can draw conclusions, which is very unfortunate.

I do not recommend!!! The bus is terrifying, it feels like it's going to fall apart. The seats are not comfortable, there is not much space, there is no toilet, and they rarely go to the toilet (and when they do, it takes 10 minutes per 59 people). The drivers are rude. It is impossible to ask anything, they immediately start being rude. It feels like you're driving for their money and you don't have any rights.
I do not recommend either the bus or the drivers!!!
