Good afternoon! Rested in 2008 on "Golden Sands".
We took 1 excursion from the tour operator (ВVT): 3 in 1 trip: Balchik-Kaliakra-Picnic. Balchik - the summer residence of the Romanian queen and a chic botanical garden + wine tasting = a wonderful walk through a beautiful garden by the sea. Kaliakra - for a history buff: cape with ruins + sea view. Picnic - completes the entire action. A plentiful dinner, national dance songs, dancing on coals, a disco. Liked. Street tour companies generally offer these tours separately. In my opinion, the 3 in 1 option is better: you will like something, something you will not, but in general the impression will remain good.
To another popular place, Nessebar, we went by taxi ourselves. Getting there from Golden Sands was somewhat tiring.
