Depends on the circumstances. If you just go there, it's better and cheaper by bus. And if you are with suitcases from the train, then take a taxi. It is even better to take a transfer from TA. Look how many people you are. Transfers take 25 euros per person round trip. Last year, taxi drivers who approached the train asked for 60 euros to Sunny Beach.

I'm alone, for the sake of walking, without suitcases)) and how long does it take to go? thanks

Actually not the best trip. There is nothing to do in Burgas, it is a big city, like a hot frying pan. From the Varna region there are many places where it is interesting to go. These are the Stone Forest, Madara, Veliko Tarnovo, Balchik. I didn’t take a bus from Varna to Burgas, but by car it took 2 hours.

I almost always agree with Poola, but this time I strongly disagree. What is not interesting about the Marine Park and Alexandrovskaya Burgas? As well as the combination of the narrow streets of old Burgas and its wide avenues. Nessebar and Sozopol aren't there places to visit in Burgas region? We are simply in love with our city of Sveti Vlas, which an Englishman friend compared with St. Tropez. Run through my photos taken there and posted on my blogs https://kozyrog.wordpress.com/
and http://kozyrog.blog.ru/
There are many topics, but I will definitely expose Burgas in more detail.

Poola, the fact is that I’m far from the first time in Bulgaria, but I haven’t been to Burgas ... I’ve been to the places you listed more than once ... I’m not a driver, so for me only public transport is suitable

kozyrog - thank you, I’ll definitely look! I want to see Burgas - I saw a lot in Bulgaria, but I haven’t been to Burgas

and I agree with Poola. if you travel by public transport, then there is nothing special to see in Burgas, the time spent does not at all compensate for the view of the narrow streets, which, in fact, are full everywhere.

kozyrog. I agree that Nessebar, Sozopol and other places on the southern coast should be seen. But kate200672 will not be able to go everywhere by public transport in a day. This is easier to do when she is on vacation on the south coast, since she travels to Bulgaria. The long and tiring road from Varna does not compensate for what we saw in Burgas. This is my personal opinion, but I do not impose it, let her decide. Have a nice trip and good rest.

Please always.
I wrote that I mostly agree with Poola. Here, too, I agree that this is not all for one day. Or a special visit to the Burgas region (SB, NE, Pomorie) or for 3 days from Varna to Burgas and not in the heat.
аватар kate200672
yes nooo ... I think the sights of Burgas can be bypassed in a few hours ... as in Varna - I personally do it quickly!
аватар kate200672
but I don’t need to go to the region ... only to the city itself
