Do I need to take a certain minimum amount of money with me?
For presentation at customs? My ticket includes 3 meals a day, I plan excursions 2-3 weeks in advance, I don’t plan to spend money on souvenirs, so I don’t want to take too much money with me.

Last year I was in Turkey, no one asked about the money account !!! There are no restrictions on Turkey, this is not a Schengen country!
аватар dama007
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see initially that to Bulgaria, but a certain amount is not required to Bulgaria either!

No one asks about money at the entrance to Bulgaria. But since such a thing has gone - all the same, I would recommend you not to infringe too much on yourself in the amount that you are going to take with you. You are going on vacation, and you deserve it, right? :) There are so many pleasant jokes in Bulgaria that it would be a shame if you really want something - but money bye-bye. Trynkat right and left - no, of course, but also squeeze contrary to your desires - it's bad for the nervous system)) Yes, even if you have 3 meals a day there - still put some amount into the trip budget for at least a couple of visits to restaurants, you will not be served at the hotel what is in restaurants, as well as fruits - they are incomparable there (you are not going now? for now, the point is - they will ripen)))).

Take as much as you want, but not more than 10,000 Obkomovskie money. You can declare up to 3,000 orally, up to 10,000 - in writing. We take 2-3 thousand small ones, the rest is on the VISA card. But we travel by car from Moscow.

Tell me, what kind of money transfer system is there in Bulgaria? Is there a contact there?
аватар Natassha_Kiev
There is no contact. Money Gram and Western Union. The first one is cheaper
аватар Natassha_Kiev
At the border, no one asks about money. Take as much as you need
аватар irina_1901
Take 200 euros anyway. We, too, when we went for the first time, it seemed that we didn’t need anything, but when we arrived, it turned out that everything was needed! In Bulgaria, excursions are not very cheap. From there you can take good wine, from 3 euros for Cahors Blagovest to 10-15 euros for cognac and branded dry. The creams there are very good, although inexpensive from 1.5 to 15 euros. Swimwear and swimming trunks can be sewn up to 20 euros. We buy summer shoes (only CARIOCA companies) - 20 euros, very comfortable and worn for a long time. All of Europe wears these shoes. Find something to spend.

Oh, well, if we are talking about shopping - our list is as follows: lukanka, cudweed, raki, wine (only dry!), lentils, soap - yes, I even like TEO soap madly. Phosphate-free powder THEO Bebe. Aster's toothpaste is great. Seasonings. Cheese. In short, I completely agree with Poola - you will find something to spend on!

Natasha, what is THEO soap? Never paid attention. And we take wine (dry) in Balchik, we specially go on this excursion, because we cannot find it ourselves. There is a shop with exclusive wine from the winemaker, a very cheerful man, conducts a tasting, tells funny stories. He had 3 species last year: raspberry grapes, apple and figs. All wines without additives are very tasty. 1 bottle (0.75) - 15 lev. In Pomorie we take Cahors *Blagovest*. The botanical garden also has good wines, but much more expensive.
аватар Natassha_Kiev
Oh, yes, ordinary soap is sold in supers. Theo is called. As for wine for 15 lev in Balchik - this is a scam, I know this man, I listened to it many times, and tried it. I rummage a bit in wine, and I can beat the fake. Real wine is made by Obrochishte, the bottles are so twisted, they have a very good Traminer. Melnik is not bad - it's red, dry, tart straight. Cherga, also nothing, only expensive. In general, the most ordinary and inexpensive can also be quite good. Here's a sparkling I like Spark. Cahors - in general, Bulgarians don’t drink this, to be honest, Cahors is technologically not even wine, but a product made from wine materials, sugar, all kinds of herbs. Well, you can compare with vermouth.

and in Pomorie - the most famous liquor is Pomoriysk Grozdova Rakia. Try it sometime in a restaurant - it's the most expensive and tastes great. Only drink a little bit, like an aperitif

Thank you Natasha. You puzzled me. We are small lovers of alcohol, maybe we don’t understand. But we do not really like dry wines, unlike the Bulgarians. Therefore, we take what is sweeter. We will consider your advice.
аватар Natassha_Kiev
they are so sweet - Bulgarian crackers! How many sunny days they have! And I can’t drink the semi-sweet Magareshko Mlyako at all - it’s sweet !!! Here's another - Troyan plum brandy - I was in the Troyan region, plums grow there - excellent brandy from them!
When are you going and where? I am going with children on 08/06 to Park Hotel Kini 3*. I'll try the tour. service in your own tourist skin

We have a challenging tour for a month in August. First, a week in Kranevo - restaurants, then 3 weeks we divide between Sunny Beach - Trakia and finally a relaxing holiday in Pomorie - Pomorie relax. And all through our local agency in Minsk. We take everything by early booking with a 20 percent discount in March. But now some good friends are asking to pick up a tour for them, because. they don’t know Bulgaria, and I see that we have won a great price, and many hotels have already closed bookings.
аватар Natassha_Kiev
Oh cool! Our last difficult tour was in 2007: we spent 2 days in Kranevo, then 1 day in Kavarna and were at a MANOWAR concert - by the way, I really liked this metal band, then, after having dinner in Varna Godzilla, we moved to Ruse to my husband's relatives , there a couple of days by the pool during car repairs, then - in the mountains, climbed to the top of Botev - 2700 meters. Kalofer, Bachovsky Monastery, Plovdiv. Smolyan 0 came here for a guide, it was bought from a very old master. And back to Kyiv. And all this in 2 weeks! Upon our return, we found out that we were expecting a baby)))
аватар irina_1901
The tour was a success! The baby was originally born as a tourist. Natasha, do you know such a 4 * Longoza hotel in Sunny Beach? They sold it to my friends at the agency, but I can’t find reviews on it.
аватар Natassha_Kiev
I found reviews in Bulgarian. They write in different ways - many say that it does not meet 4 stars, that it takes a long time to get to the beach in the heat - 400 meters, along the sand, and nothing is left of the wooden path. The food seems to be normal, but all inclusive is only until 23-00, bye-bye alcoholics. Animation for children is highly praised. In general, as usual, you need to close your eyes and go if the price was good. Trakia, Iskar on the foot for the whole summer. Good hotels sell out fast
аватар irina_1901
Thank you, they just have 2 children, but they were told that the beach is no more than 100 m. Nothing, you should have thought earlier. We are going to Thrace.
