What will come out cheaper - HB or BB + dinners in restaurants?

Dinner in small resorts in Bulgaria without alcohol costs about 12 lev = 6 euros, but depending on requests, you can leave in a cafe as much as 3-4 euros or 10 (large portions, salad - 350-400 gr. Vegetable costs 1.5- 2 euros). 100 euros is 190 Bulgarian leva. In my opinion, taking hotel food in Bulgaria does not make sense. Lots of interesting cafes and delicious food.

Dinners in cafes and restaurants will cost you a little more, but it will be disproportionately tastier! Dinner with meat (skara, a variety of grilled meats), salads and wine last summer cost us up to 40 lev for two, dinner with beer up to 20 lev for two. In principle, you can buy ready-made food in supermarkets in order to save money - very tasty, not at all like our ready-made food. You can take ready-made food in portable trays - all kinds of grilled seafood, meat, etc., it will be very cheap. Fruits and vegetables cost the same as ours, but much tastier, wine in supermarkets is very cheap, but at the same time good. So see for yourself, 100 euros, of course, is not enough, you need at least twice as much to make sure.
I perceive Bulgaria as a gastronomic holiday, because the food there is very, very, very tasty!

Even if dinners will cost you more, which I don’t think, you should take only breakfasts. Our dinners cost 10-15 euros (but it was impossible to call them modest), so that it is almost your budget, but it can definitely be cheaper. Every day we went to different resorts and ate in different restaurants (a lot of fish and how delicious everything is there). Bulgaria is a country with delicious hearty food. The portions are simply huge and the first time you eat in Bulgarian cafes, place your order carefully, we didn’t calculate and didn’t even touch half of the order. Once again - feel free to take only breakfast. Have a nice rest.

During my visits to Bulgaria, I was convinced that it is better to have breakfast at the hotel, the rest in cafes and restaurants, it will come out one by one. The portions of the Bulgarians are very decent (large), my girlfriend and I always took a day for two and was enough for our heads. And the food is more varied than at the hotel.
Enjoy your holiday and delicious food.
