It was the first time we went on holiday abroad. Before that, all the time Crimea and Crimea. But then friends advised me to go to Bulgaria - to Pomorie. My wife and I listened to impressions, googled and decided - we were going to Pomorie, but "savages", without prior booking. The season is low. So here are the impressions:

1. Road: we left Lviv by bus at 7.30. We arrived in Pomorie the next day at 11.20. The Romanian customs took a lot of time - 3 hours 40 minutes. Why - it is not clear. We waited 40 minutes for the passports to be collected. We collected the passports and then we waited another 3 hours for them to be returned. Maybe unlucky, or maybe they have such a style of work. Advice to those who travel by bus - take pillows around your neck on the road - it's hard without them. Who has a car - probably better by car. Still, a day on the bus is hard. I saw cars with Russian and Ukrainian numbers. Even someone came to Deu-Matis.

2. Arrival in Pomorie: upon arrival, we were surrounded by natives with offers of different apartments and rooms. keep in mind that wi-fi is called wi-fi by some. And for some it is paid, for others it is included in the cost of living. Air conditioners are exactly the same. Therefore, when choosing an apartment, specify all the conditions. There was one guy who also suggested that we pay for electricity separately. Do you still need to calculate kW on vacation? Yes, friends have joined us on the trip. Therefore, within 40 minutes we found the ideal option (for us) - we rented the entire floor in a private house. Includes 4 rooms with 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens. All the fun - 360 euros for 2 families for 10 nights. The house is located on the street. Stara Planina 3-a. Well, in the high season the price will probably be higher. But lower than in hotels.

3. Meals: we went to cafes. Their choice for the rest of the rest stopped at the cafe "Omar". Located on st. Krayberezhnaya, closer to the beginning - in fact, this is the embankment itself. Why "Omar" - I answer: quickly, efficiently, tasty. And a lot. . . I don't know if it's + or -. Decide for yourself. Who loves to eat is his place (well, as for me), who monitors weight - either you have to swim and run intensively, or don’t go to cafes at all. The portions are really big. The price - for 25 lev for three you will fill up to satiety. Yes. you can go to the Fantazia cafe - it's not bad, but it takes a long time to cook. For those with a sweet tooth, the Zakharo cafe is something like our Lvov Veronica.

4. Beaches: when we arrived, the beaches were still being prepared, so they were free. The sea is clean, the beaches were cleaned with us. But from 15.06 a place under an umbrella began to cost 5 lev. The bed is the same. But between the places where umbrellas are installed, there are 10 m of free passage. You can poke your umbrella in them for free and calmly sunbathe. A lot of people did just that. Yes, from the hotel "Sunny Buy" and above the beaches without umbrellas and without payment. The weather was amazing. Water - at first 20 degrees, then it was already 25. In our period there were few people, which was very pleasing. But from June 16, according to my estimates, 60% of the "parking spaces" on the beach were already occupied. The beaches are sandy. On the surf line, it washes shells - but this does not cause discomfort. Yes, the beaches run along Krayberezhnaya Street. On the other side of the peninsula, there are virtually no beaches.

5. Well, the last on the list, but not least - the exchange of money. With us, the rate was 1.94 for 1 euro. But look, don’t get caught like we did when leaving for Nessebar: the exchange rate is 1.95, and when you hand over the currency, you are given leva at the rate of 1.8. you start to resent, and they kindly answer that this is the selling rate, and it’s impossible for you to return your euros. Almost all exchangers on the territory of old Nessebar sin this way. Therefore, first ask for the exchange rate. I am attaching a photo of this institution in old Nessebar.

I hope my review will be useful to someone.
