Third time and love it
Once again we went to Pomorie. We were 2 adults and 3 children (if you can call it 14-16). At first, the wife wanted to go to Sunny Beach, but when they looked at the hustle and bustle and prices of the promoted resort, everyone unanimously decided - to Pomorie.
My wife was here 3 times, I was 2. Pomorie is a quiet, calm town where we know all the streets, shops and cafes. We live all the time in the private sector, we rent apartments ourselves, we don’t want to overpay agencies, since the owner’s advertisements hang around. This time we rented a 3-room apartment for 56 leva per day (the exchange rate has been 1 euro for 1.95 leva for years). To the sea 60 steps, he himself believed. We ate when at home (my wife cooked), when in a cafe. Prices within reasonable limits, unlike Ukraine, do not grow. We are coming at the end of June, because at this time there are fewer people, more choice of apartments and places on the beach. July is already harder. This year we decided to try to drive with our own car, the experiment was successful, there were almost no problems.
Unlike Egypt, you can safely walk on your own and let your children go. You give them money and out of sight. I really like holidays in Bulgaria. I don't want to go to Egypt, to the Crimea, especially to Odessa.
The owners of the apartment were friendly, sociable, they spoke Russian tolerably (Ukrainian is not understood, just like we are Bulgarian). Twice set the table, we responded - too. We promised to visit them again next year.
Summing up, I’ll say: maybe there are cooler and more exotic resorts, but Bulgaria gives you the opportunity to enjoy for a reasonable price
