Small nuances include the fact that on the beach the first row of sun loungers was supplied by an employee from the very morning with mattresses for an additional fee, that is, if you don’t want a mattress, go to other rows, but under the onslaught of especially stubborn tourists, the uncle backpedaled .
There was also a lack of a water cooler in the hotel lobby. Although the hotel is advertised as an all inclusive hotel, there was only water in the dining room and pool bar. In the refrigerator in the room - for an additional fee.
We grieve, because if there are no places, therefore, a good hotel... However, on the same tour. The company offered us a hotel in the same system, the same owners - Dobrotitsa. In the end, we not only did not regret it, but were only glad about it. I'll tell you why:
1. The hotel is located on the first line, therefore, 20 meters from the sea. There is also a 4-star hotel in Albena - Dobruja, but it is, in my opinion, uncomfortable. Stomp and stomp to the sea. And then - left the hotel, 20 steps and a beach.
2. The territory of the hotel is very green, unlike fellow - Kaliakra. The 4-storey building is immersed in greenery, therefore there is no deadly heat after 11.00. Everything on the territory is planted with roses, and they grow there almost in a semi-wild state, while they manage to delight the eye with wonderful flowers.
3. There is a swimming pool on the territory of the hotel. As elsewhere, it has a lethal amount of bleach, but it is cleaned regularly and there is a depth for both children and 2-meter uncles and aunts. Sunbeds and umbrellas near the pool - free of charge. So lie to yourself in the shade, putting the bed on the green grass and bastard.
By the way, the pool, supposedly shared with Kaliakra, but since it is located on the territory of Dobrotitsa, there are few guests there, if not almost none. We saw pools, of course, and more abruptly (I don’t remember which hotel in Albena), but the people there are simply unmeasured.
4. As for the number - as in the good old Union... If you are waiting for something memorable, then it is completely in vain. From the furniture - everything you need: beds, bedside tables, wardrobe. There is a TV, but forget about the remote control. Decent shower, toilet, sink and hedgehogs with them. Huge loggia with compartment doors and plastic furniture.
5. Service: ran away regularly, every day. The bed was also changed every day, and it was terribly decorative. Interestingly, it was written in the bathroom: We protect nature, and constant washing of towels pollutes it. Therefore - if you think it's time to change the towel - leave it on the floor, if not, then we will not touch it.
Our conscience moved when we met, we remembered this and sighing, we often hung a towel on a hook. Let at least somewhere with nature everything will be OK! By the way, Bulgaria has a so-called. a blue flag that speaks of environmentally friendly recreation on its territory. Well, it would be a shame if the evil capitalists take it away. . .
As for all kinds of bathroom accessories, there is no hair dryer, soap, however, is put. The shampoo appeared three times in a week, so those who are used to washing their head more often - do not count.
6. Food. . . We liked it. If the burghers constantly fought over french fries and poisonous drinks, then we calmly ate local fruits, which were in abundance, meat dishes, funny "summer" soups, etc. Periodically, they were amused with a dish called "Ruska lettuce". They, the poor fellows, thought that this was Olivier. . . and that we love to eat him in basins. We personally didn't like it.
Often prepared dishes of world cuisine - Italian, French. They tried, of course, but somehow they preferred a good pork or chicken skewers, fish and salads. Desserts were the most common - cookies, cakes, mousses, etc.
Always white and red wine. Only here for the banal tea bags had to fight. Bulgarians do not drink the black tea we are used to, everyone strives to slip some kind of weed in bags. In general, the food was varied and tasty. Moreover, according to the regimen, breakfast smoothly flowed into lunch, and the last one into dinner...
7. Beach: nice and clean beach. They clean it both in the morning and in the evening. It's a big rarity to dig out something like a peach pit in the sand. But sunbeds, umbrellas and mattresses - for a fee... After all, the beach is urban, and not the property of the hotel, as well as all the beaches in the area.
With the sale of food on the beach do not stick... peace and quiet... The sea - just for the kids. Finely. . . finely. . . finely. . . finely. . . finely. . . "Mom, save me - DRAIN! " Vodichka in mid-July was just right. Algae, by the way, is also pulled out of the water when the beach is cleaned. Small crabs walk along the bottom. The children, seeing them, squeal wildly. Although I have never been bitten by anyone. You just have to go and say "Shoo out of here! ". I'm kidding, of course.
Well, that's probably all... If you have any questions, write - I'll be glad to answer.
Inna.
