We moved to Albena. It was raining a little, there was an active phase of our illness (rotoravirus), so at first we were not enthusiastic about the hotel. However, in the course of our recovery (and we all got sick: my daughter, my wife and I) and the weather improved, we liked the hotel more and more.
The rooms looked richer than at Delphine (St. Constantine and Helena). One double bed, one single bed, one small sofa. Very comfortable. The bathroom has a hairdryer with adjustable warm air.
The food in the restaurant was delicious, the choice is much larger than in Dolphin. There is also a snack bar where you can have a bite by the pool (open until 16-30), also a lobby bar where you can drink any drinks until 23-00).
It’s not far to go to the beach, after Orchid last year, it’s practically next to each other. We really liked the location of the hotel: you go out and find yourself in the very center of the resort.
Upon arrival, there was a feeling that it was as if they had arrived at their home, everything is familiar after last year's vacation. But, gradually, the feeling that we were in a resort came: thanks to the new hotel and that part of Albena where we had not gone before.
The beach is beautiful and clean as always. True, the sea was coldish, and dirty after the flood. But, towards the end of our stay, it became cleaner.
On the second day after our move, the “rain” started, which caused the whole flood. 2 days were without electricity (although they were turned on in the evening), in the restaurant all the food was cooked on gas, so there was no time for variety, there was water in the basement, the elevators did not work. But by the end of the 2nd day, after the water was sucked out of the basement, everything worked as it should, although the snack bar did not work until a week after the flood.
Then we learned that 6 hotels (which are closer to the river) were cut off from the world. Gergana was completely washed away, everyone was evicted from there.
A couple more fly in the ointment: Wi-Fi, of course, was free, but tricky: you can connect only one device to one number for free, it works only at the reception, where they give out a name and password for accessing the Internet. The door of our room overlooked an open corridor, so the music was always audible until half past midnight. At first I strained, but then I got used to it, especially after absolutely calmness at St. Constantine and Elena.
From Dine Around we are generally shocked. Booking a place in a restaurant is not realistic at all. Last year, it was possible to book a place in any restaurant in a couple of days: lunch or dinner. And this is a disaster: they tried to book a place on Saturday for Tuesday, and the place was only in one Caliope, and then only on Friday. In general, they threw us with restaurants.
The course at the resort is BGN 1.86/€1, BGN 1.33/$1.

We stayed at the hotel a year ago with my husband and son. For a vacation with a child (we were 2 years old at that time), the place is excellent: the sea is shallow, a children's pool with a slide, there is a crib in the room (we really didn’t use it). The only thing that upset me a little, the sea was cool in June, I was worried about my son, but this did not stop him, he was ready to splash all day long))) And so - the beach is clean, sunbeds and umbrellas are free.

As for the food, it is really varied + a lot of fruits, which was especially pleasing. We also sometimes went to different restaurants, there are plenty to choose from: there are expensive ones, there are simpler ones. In the evening you can walk around Albena, a very green city, there is a park, a lot of shops and entertainment for kids, we rode a train, my son was delighted. I am writing and I want to go back))) In a word, the rest was a success! )

Excellent hotel. My mother and I visited in the summer of 2005. We ourselves lived in a completely different hotel (we were settled by relatives). But we constantly walked in Laguna Garden (ate, sunbathed, talked with people from the hotel). The food is excellent, the pool too, very good staff, very friendly.

Albena, compared to other Bulgarian resorts, is the best. I advise...You can't go wrong!!! !
