Hot Baku summer!
Summer-heat-wind-and loud-screaming Baku guys! Probably so, in short, you can characterize this city now! We were in Baku for three days last fall, very unusual - beautiful, clean, covered in marble... etc. Then we stayed in the old town at the hotel, but now we decided to repeat the trip - rent an apartment and get to know each other in more detail - and are completely disappointed!
It turns out that renting an apartment in Baku is very problematic. Well, what is special here, we thought - we first went to the site, chose suitable housing, wrote out the phone numbers of realtors - and upon arrival in the country, having bought an Azerbaijani number (also a problem - a passport is a must and only managed to buy in Azsel, but a month later the number turned off - it turns out that in a month you also need to register the phone... continuous problems) - and sat down in the park for a phone call. Much to our surprise (and we chose about 25 apartments) - half of the realtors speak only their own language, and they began to meet with the rest. I will not describe in detail these trips in the 45-degree heat, nothing was found on the first day. And only on the second day, late in the evening, a representative of the company very persistently began to offer us housing (as it turned out later). A very pleasant, sociable girl (at first glance), showed her office (Ganjlik metro station) and brought us to the apartment. Yes, everything is fine, we liked the housing, but as it turned out, in addition to paying the owner, we also had to pay the company (but she didn’t warn us . . ) but a lot of BUT - there is no Internet, some household items, etc. It ended up that she still begged us for money and promised to help in everything. BUT, later I didn’t even pick up the phone (but I needed help in installing the Internet, there was no gas in the apartment, I needed registration... etc. ). It is a pity that such a pleasant appearance turned out to be so deceptive - sad!
Our apartment was located next to the metro station on January 20 - this is the Yasamal district - but who knew that these were solid new buildings - high-rise buildings, noise, din, dust, on our site in three apartments there was still a repair (the whole day they knocked, drilled. . zhah... ) We were not lucky with the apartment, as well as with the owners. This is not our country, the heat is up to 50 degrees, you need to go to the sea for at least an hour (the water is about 32 . . ). I didn’t want to go anywhere in such closeness (even the metro was not refreshing, not to mention buses . . )
What's good, yes, there were good people, the old town is beautiful, the pomegranate wine is delicious, and so... probably that's all. Disappointed, will not come here again!
