"Rest" in Albania
I could not help but share my "delight" from being in this country. If you want to ruin your holiday then this is the place for you. I’ll tell you a little about the prehistory - at the meeting, the guide talked about the friendly and sympathetic local population, but in fact, this nation is friendly only when they see your money, this is where friendliness ends, the attitude towards tourists is incomparable if you don’t know English and you can’t convey that they are wrong, and this is all the time. I am sharing an incident that happened to me on the third day of my stay in Albania: having rented a car, I was not careful to park for two minutes before refueling, after which, when I wanted to repark the car, the owner on a scooter drove into my bumper twice, the goal I understood his actions, they say you will pay, then the police, I insisted on drawing up a protocol, told the policeman about the cameras, the incident was exhausted, but if you didn’t know the language, it was difficult, but they settled it (be very careful, it’s possible to prove the rightness, but it’s difficult and + get on your nerves). We turned to the Ukrainian Embassy in Albania for advice, in the future, in order to avoid such situations, the embassy's answer was: "solve the issue yourself. " Unfortunately, Ukraine does not protect the rights of its citizens; you can only rely on yourself. . . As for food ((( everything is very expensive, the average bill for two in a restaurant is from 40€ to 50€, sun loungers on the beach from 8€ to 15€. I’m in the country for the third day and I can say that Dominica with ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE for 10 days, not an expensive country at all, I'm sure that in 10 days in Albania, I will leave much more. I wrote as a cry from the bottom of my heart, don't waste your day, let the resting country remain for the Albanians, and for tourists who want to spend their money, there are more civilized countries where you don't owe someone. plus South Albania (city of Ksamil) - azure coast (Albanian Maldives). P. S. The country is not for European tourists!
