Hello. I address first of all to the representatives of the tourist industry. A very unhappy situation has developed, which can only develop in a country like ours. This already spoiled everyone's mood before the trip and I don't want to go.
The bottom line: The tour operator of swindlers and thieves Accord stole 2 (two!) Days of the tour from us and made several free excursions optional and paid, overturned the program. All this was done after we bought the tour.
Details: We bought the "Alpine Trio" tour for 12 days from February 8 for its duration and a cool program with skiing in three countries of the Alps. Here's what it looked like in December, here's a backup link, another one. After that, without notifying us in any way, they turned this tour into another one a long time ago. Removed from the program: two days in Europe!, a visit to the underground grotto of Mount Verhegy - a cave bath in Miskolc-Tapolca, a visit to the new Aquarius water park in Niergygaza, free time in Munich and Zurich, Liechtenstein, Lucerne, excursion "Shine and sunset of the Great Empire ". Here they are, "small changes in the program"!!! After which you will even have to change train tickets from Lviv two days earlier, if there are still places.
My wife and I found out about this by accident when we went to the offsite Accord Tour to watch the program for February 14, Valentine's Day. After that, not believing my eyes, I wrote to them by email (there is no other way to contact), but no one answered. I wrote a review on the site, but it was immediately deleted due to the alleged fact that we had not yet been on the tour. I called my travel agent and she called them, and they explained to her that there were "very small" changes in the program and so be it, they will be able to refund us €12 per ticket!!! Imagine you bought the UAE for 10 days, and then accidentally find out that the program has changed a little, and now the tour is for 8 days and without breakfast, but don't worry, you will be compensated for the difference of $15. This is fine? I personally estimate the difference between the tour that we bought and the one that is now (and these are definitely two different tours) at least 430/12*2+2*38=€148, and it is difficult to assess the spoiled mood. The travel agent persuades you to accept and go, they say you will like it anyway.
Questions: We do not have a direct contract with the tour operator, we cannot sue them. What to do? Does Consumer Protection deal with such issues? Where to apply? What proof of fraud do you need to provide?
