My parents went twice and everything was great. That is, once in a while it is not necessary.
We bought a tour for July 2019 "Weekend in Hungary". We had all sorts of minor inconsistencies, which, however, did not affect the overall impression in any way. The tour program was fully implemented, optional (paid) excursions were not forced to go, the drivers helped with the suitcases and behaved very friendly, the hotels corresponded to the declared ones. Guide Lesya Lischenyuk did her best, but you can’t please everyone, wow, well, she has a job))
And, of course, a huge plus - the PRICE. We bought a tour for six months for 61 euros - this is 3 nights and 4 incomplete days in Hungary, accommodation + breakfasts, transportation, three free excursions.
But in the end, the impression was completely spoiled when on the way back we got stuck at the border for 5 hours and half the bus missed the night train to Kyiv. And from the words of the guide, we learn that this is a normal situation! Chord!!! Why don't you indicate this in the tour program? It's not difficult - add that it's better not to take train tickets, because there may be delays at the border!
Now I understand that I myself was dumb when I didn’t read reviews about the tour operator, ex, well, we’ll know now.
One of the drivers helped to solve the situation, called the office, organized a trip to Kyiv on the same bus for 600 UAH/person. It's still better than spending the night... but where would we spend the night at 3 am? I have no idea.
Well, I don’t even know how to sum it up, because delays at the border are a factor that the travel agency cannot influence in any way, but an unpleasant aftertaste remains.
