I understand that it’s better to stay in Dubai. My head is already spinning from all the information. Whoever writes is not worth going there, there is nothing to see and everything is expensive. Someone is delighted. The budget for two for a week is a maximum of $ 1700. at the beginning of February.

In Abu Dhabi, the Blue Mosque. And it's better to go to Sharjah to the Nova Park Hotel. Closest to Abu Dhabi and cheaper. And in Dubai, a transfer from the hotel every day carries for free. And you will see the singing fountains in Dubai and, if you can, climb the Burj Khalifa tower and see Dubai from a bird's eye view. And in Sharjah there are singing fountains.

Arrived home only a week. Stop ONLY DUBAI (otherwise you will only go to everything by taxi). We took Citymax (new building 3 *, breakfast). Hotel in the center near the Mall of the Emirates. If HB-it will be difficult to go to see something in the evening. You can also have dinner in cafes, food courts, poppy, etc. - full of everything. Prices are true in short: expensive. Once again, clearly: do not listen to anyone: only Dubai. To get started, go to the yellow crane website: download the metro map and print it out, study the routes and places you want to visit. Act according to the plan: breakfast in the morning (and it is wonderful in 3 *); 2- you go to the sea on a free shuttle, either a taxi or a bus (if the sea is not far away, look carefully so that there is a metro, a bus nearby). 3- after lunch you change clothes and the Global Village, flower garden, etc. All this you will find on different resources and how to get there. 4-Download a map of Dubai. (English required). Sea (Persian Gulf is cool in December - keep in mind).

Thank you!, It's just that many people have such opposite opinions. I think at least once, but it's worth a look. Dinner can be changed for lunch, so I want to take it that way.

Citymax Hotel Al Barsha at the Mall 3 *, did you rest in this?

If you still want to spend money on holidays in the UAE at least once, then fly to Dubai. Look at the billions invested in the desert, at the chic skyscrapers and the imagination of architects.

Citymax Hotel Al Barsha at the Mall 3 * is an old building, everything is also fine there, but there is no wardrobe, just a hanger with hangers, and Citymax Hotel Al Barsha is a new building (built in 2018) there is a huge closet and modern new furniture ( color orange) and what is important for us for 3 adults is a lot of standards with 3 full beds or 1 double bed and 1 half bed. Both hotels are chain, located in the center. almost everything was seen in a week: the beaches: Marina, Parus, Jumeirah, Kate Beach, and La Mer, praised by all. After lunch: Burj Khalifa, Aquarium, Sky Dubai, Sail, Venice, Frame, Mosque in Abu Dhabi, Flower Park, Global Village, Marina evening promenade. Palm Jumeirah, the Louvre and the gold market did not have time. Most impressed: Global and the mosque. We moved mobile, took a taxi. Everything shines and sparkles. Dinner should be changed for lunch 1 day in advance, while lunch will be on the menu, not a buffet. You can also take hotels in the Bur Dubai area (we were in the El Barsha area) because there is also a metro station nearby and a bus station

My advice: if you are 2 people, take the Novotel Quadruple (you will be satisfied with the location, food and hotel for sure). I would give the second place to the Ibis grid (there are a lot of them looking for the center). Third place - take a look at Golden Sands apartments. Those hotels that are near the sea are either expensive or worse than the previous ones. But you will also want to see different beaches, there are buses with 3-8 holes. These are my tips, look for yourself, but the hotel is relatively there, all the time in motion.......

Thank you very much, very useful information.

Definitely Dubai.
February is a cold month. the beach will be cold. if you're lucky once or twice buy. there may be wind and rain
and means with such weather only excursions.
Movement
1. hotel within walking distance to the metro - reduces travel costs.
2. if it is possible to rent a car and go to Abu Dhabi on your own, it will be cheaper than a taxi (to rent a car, you need an IDP and the deposit is blocked on the card)
3. Many places can be reached by subway, or by taxi. will soon introduce ordering a taxi only from the application. it's not convenient, of course. there is also uber. it is more expensive than a regular taxi. but in general, a taxi is not a very expensive means of transportation
4. You can also get to Abu Dhabi by bus. but you have to take a taxi there.

Abu Dhabi:
- Emirates Palace (entrance is free, appearance is strictly checked)
- Qasr Al Watan - presidential palace. opened in March. gorgeous!! entrance 60 local
- Grand Mosque (free entry)
- Louvre (admission fee)
Dubai - here you already have what you want and what money is enough for
Frame
Green Planet (but as for me the price was raised a lot)
Miracle Garden
Garden Glow+dinosaurs
Medinat Jumeirah
Dubai Mall + dubai fountain + burj khalifa = it's all one place. many people think that these are different places.

trip to the old city. here I have my points, I rent the most practical route (convenient for drivers):
1. you arrive in the new area of Al Seef (made antique, but it is new). there are cafes, you can take a walk
2. near the old district of Bastakiya, where there are all sorts of art galleries and cafes.
3. walk to the abra stations and take the abra (price 1 dirham) swim across to the other side to Baniyas Square
4. see the old city, walk to the Gold Bazaar.
here you can do it differently. come to Baniyas Square metro station and make the trip in reverse order

and there are also all sorts of amusement parks (well, who loves it, I don’t go there)
Global Village - but you need to understand that this is just a bright market. and there is a cool amusement park
there are walking tours Marina, JBR, La Mer, City Walk
and souvenir junk you need to buy in the old city and you should not take it in other places

And be sure to take the hotel with breakfast!
Yes, the prices are not cheap. but in supermarkets prices are normal, often lower than in Ukraine.
to understand how much you will spend - choose on the Internet where you want. prices are everywhere online. even the subway can break the price from point A to point Y. and taxis give approximate prices (although Uber is more expensive).
and even now all tourists are given a local SIM card at passport control.

I join the advice to take a city hotel in Dubai, there will still be no beach in February.
I belong to the camp of those who believe that there is nothing special to see in the UAE, in the Middle East there are a lot of countries with much richer history, nature and architecture. But once, of course, it is worth visiting to form your own opinion. If possible, reschedule the trip for a warmer month, at least there will be beach activities in stock.

For Olenka: There are many people who are NOT VERY fond of churches and ruins. As they say, a person needs bread and circuses, but there are bright spectacles in Dubai. Yesterday I arrived from Kyiv and the elementary metro in the capital caused laughter when I remembered the metro, roads, cars, Marina in Dubai. Therefore, to each his own. As for the warm sea, the water in Egi is cold for me in December, but almost all of ours swim there.
Conclusion: it's definitely worth going to Dubai!!!!!
аватар ollennka
grebenik_si, well, you understand that not because of love for the cold sea, "all yours" go in December, but because of the cheapness of vouchers in the off-season. It’s definitely worth a trip to the UAE once, I wrote that. But don't expect much from them.
аватар grebenik_si
ollennka,Ukraine usually flies to Egi for 7 days sometimes 5 hence the price, and Russians (talked with many) don’t consider less than 10 days AT ALL. Therefore, for 14 days and in a normal hotel, our price is also not low. A couple of months ago there was such a joke : a young couple flew in for 4 days, blindly believing that they had a special suitcase (in a single copy) at the hotel they suddenly found a suitcase full of children's clothes, diapers and children. nutrition. Thank God, there was a phone and the owner's coordinates in my pocket. HOW MANY DAYS they rested, the story is silent ......., but that's another topic. I am very glad that people asked a question about the OAU and got good answers. Write, answer and good luck to everyone !!!!!
