hairdryers are everywhere .. irons are usually not provided in such hotels in the room. linen of course will be clean but of course not starched. if you compare hotels of this level with Turkish-Egyptian ones, then the Emirates ones are certainly better .. these are not bedbugs, but not mansions either

Look for 3* in Dubai. The price won't be much higher. You just need to spend a little time on this issue. Many "threes" in Dubai are better than some Turkish and Egyptian "fives" (judging by the reviews on the site. Or in Sharjah - the emirate borders on Dubai, some hotels are not far from Dubai on foot.
