Unfortunately, I can only answer the second part of the question, since we were in Abu Dhabi. We went to Dubai by taxi. We also went to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque by taxi. Admission is free, but it's better to arrive at ten o'clock, fewer people and queues in changing rooms. All women are forced to wear long black dresses and headscarves, so when many group tour buses arrive, a queue forms.

We drove from Sharjah to see the mosque in Abu Dhabi
- from the hotel by taxi (15 dirham 4 $) to the bus station (Bus Station Bass Station)
- there they bought tickets to Abu Dhabi (30 dirhams -8$)
