Hotel in Dubai
UAEDubai
Please advise an inexpensive but good hotel in Dubai near the beach. And is it possible to go to the UAE if the passport is foreign in the maiden name, and the internal one is in the new one? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I can't tell you about the hotel.
But I know that the passport definitely needs to be changed
No one will put a visa in an invalid passport (and for all countries except Turkey and Egypt you have just such a passport)
So first change your passport

I won’t tell you about the hotel, probably trust the travel agency. The only thing I would advise is to go to Dubai themselves. in the rest of the emirates, you will be bored, as there is nowhere to go outside the hotel. I haven’t been to Abu Dhabi, but they say it’s also interesting there, after all, the capital.

I advise you to go to the Hilton Jumeirah hotel. It is not expensive and very good. About 100 m to the coast.

about the Hilton - yes, it's quite decent, just don't rely on the receptionist's tips about the opening hours of local establishments - they give incorrect information, because of which you can get somewhere before closing or vice versa - don't get there ((choose places to visit and check data in advance

Hilton, Movenpick, Ritz Carlton are located next to each other on the seashore, as well as an alley of cafes and shops nearby. Holton is the last one on this alley, further the desert and construction sites. Buildings do not interfere with rest. Choose what suits you best for the price. They are all good. A little further there is a Cheb tour hotel, we liked it there, but the beach is very long, it takes a long time to go to the sea from the sunbed. There are also good reviews about the Westin - this is a new hotel, also nearby. All of them are located at Jumeirah Marina.

And what hotel can be in the walking distance to the beach? In Jumeirah, all hotels are 5 * and not very budget :-(

Then you are in Sharjah. There are budget hotels within walking distance to the beach.

Is Sharjah far from downtown Dubai? I would like to see the city in addition to the beach.

Let's first understand what is your purpose of the trip and why the Emirates?
аватар Sapiga84
I just wanted to visit this country for a long time. The main goal is a beach holiday. But being in the UAE and not seeing the sights of Dubai is just a sin! Therefore, I ask you to recommend a hotel in Dubai within walking distance to the beach. I understand that the best option is the Jumeirah area, but, unfortunately, it is not the most budget one.

There is nothing special to see in the emirates. We took the tour "6 Emirates in one day" The most pleasant and interesting was the Indian Ocean in Fujairah. In the very center of the Emirate of Dubai is the tallest building in the world, where you can climb to the observation deck of 124 floors (from there you can see the entire Emirate of Dubai). There is also a beautiful, large musical fantan. We went to look at it day and night, unforgettable emotions. Also nearby is a shopping center in which there is a large aquarium with different marine life. They probably spend their whole lives being in shopping centers, they have everything, even a huge ski slope with lifts. The country is similar to Egypt, where there is one desert and heat. It must be very hot there right now. Water at least 30 degrees. If you eat now, you will turn sour in the pool, as there will be a desire to cool down, and the bay is warm. The Indian Ocean is cooler than the Persian Gulf.. They even have air-conditioned bus stops. We rode the subway, nothing special, the only thing that the driver is missing, everything is automatic. The service staff is very polite everywhere, they will always help, tell, show. All beach hotels are located at a decent distance from the center of Dubai.

But almost every hotel runs free minibuses to the city center, back and forth on schedule. we used them. Until lunch on the beach, then picking up a minibus, climbed in the center until the evening, back in the evening. So choose a hotel according to your means and check if these free minibuses go from your chosen hotel. And then you will have something to do in the evenings.
