We rested in June 2012 with my family in Nha Trang at the Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang. We chose the hotel and booked it ourselves on Hotels. com, after reading all the reviews on it for a long time, we finally decided to choose it. We flew by regular Aeroflot flight to Hanoi, from Hanoi by Vietnam Airlines - 1 hour 45 minutes. to Nha Trang. Flights are conveniently docked with each other, waiting at Hanoi airport was two hours, no more. Vietnam Airlines has several flights to Nha Trang every day, you can choose a convenient departure time for an Aeroflot flight.
Rest were very satisfied. My husband and I love Southeast Asia, and we usually go there in winter. But this time we went to Asia for the first time with a child, so we chose especially carefully. When planning a trip, there were doubts whether it is worth going to Vietnam in the summer? It turned out that it is worth it in Nha Trang!
In our opinion, the beach and the sea at Vinpearl Resort are the best of all the places we have been.

Clean, beautiful view, there is a feeling of seclusion of the beach, few people - even when the hotel is full. There are always free sunbeds, you do not need to occupy them. The beach is really clean, the sand is fine, almost white.
It's better to take the Executive case. It's better and quieter. We took a Grand Deluxe Ocean View room in it, and it was appreciated on the spot.
The only negative - when we booked the hotel, we indicated that we needed a room for 3 people - two adults and a child, and chose the bed option - Twins (to accommodate three) - usually these are two double beds. We have confirmed this. But when we arrived at the hotel, at the reception we were told that we have to pay $ 300 extra for a bed for a child, since they give us a room with one large King size bed, and there is nowhere for the child to sleep. Didn't want to pay. I asked to call the manager. As a result, they immediately found us a room with two beds (by the way, exactly through the wall from where we were first settled). But their Vietnamese Twins turned out to be unexpectedly narrow for the Russian people. So if in my mind, I would agree to pay these $ 300 to sleep normally. Just before the trip, if there are three of us, this fact should be taken into account in order to immediately order a King-size bed for two adults!
We had no other complaints about our stay at the hotel. The food was just super - shrimp in every possible way, Australian beef (hello Goodman), fruit, everything is very tasty. There are spicy dishes. You can easily feed the baby the whole vacation. I especially liked the desserts - not rubber, but light and natural, without chemical creams, thickeners and dyes. We joked that the chef apparently had an internship in France or Italy.
The hotel is located on the opposite side of the famous Vinpearl Park.
Every day there are free performances in the park:
Circus Show, Artistic Puppet Show, Mermaid Mini Show, and Singing Fountain Show. We have only been to the fountain show and we loved it.

The park is always crowded with people, especially in the evening. To leave the island for the mainland, queues for the funicular in the evenings stand for two hours! And we didn’t need to go anywhere, you go through the turnstile in this park, like in the subway, you swipe the hotel card, which opens the door of the room, and which also needs to be presented at the restaurant. You find yourself already in the closed territory of the hotel, and you wait for a tuk-tuk. Tuk-tuks run every 5 minutes, so getting there is very easy. You can go to the mainland by boat, taking a tuk-tuk to the pier, or by funicular - both of which are free for hotel guests, just like all the entertainment in the park! For hotel residents there is a special pass to the funicular without a queue, which is also convenient.
We went to the city several times, but there is a real “Vietnam”. We wanted to enjoy what is on site. Usually we like to go on excursions, but this time we didn’t even want to. We went to the city, we drove through all the main sights by taxi, and that was enough for us.
The hotel has a good spa, there are few people in it, so you don’t even have to sign up in advance, the prices are small. The hotel really has a sense of hospitality and it creates a holiday.
