3 days in Bukhara
This was my 2nd trip to Bukhara. . . the first was alone with a group of classmates in a noisy company, I never saw all the charm of the city.
This time it was a conscious trip to see the city, but I was more attracted by the opportunity to see the Sitorai-Mokhi-Khosa Palace: the residence of the Emir of Bukhara !!!
On the morning of November 1, the plane landed at about 10 am, there were not many passengers and we quickly got to the hotel. 10-15 minutes to the old town by taxi. We left our things at the hotel and went to have breakfast at the labi hovuz. It was warm and sunny weather. near Labi hovuz you can have breakfast in tapchanchik. and also feed the ducks)
after a walk through the old town, buying small souvenirs! bargain! they are half the price! since I myself am from Tashkent, it was easier for me to bargain, but almost everyone speaks English...
The old city is full of madrassahs, and all sorts of historical buildings, you feel like in a fairy tale . .
The 2nd day was dedicated to Ark and Sitorai-Mohi-Khosa.
since the Ark was closer to the old city, we examined it first. paid entrance. 600 soums for citizens of Uzbekistan for foreigners about 4 thousand soums, it’s very beautiful if you look from the height of the walls of the Ark into the city . . and you can also learn about the history at the more cautious museum... to get to Sitorai-Mokhi-Khosa you need to take a taxi or there are many minibuses to Sitorai-Mohi-Khosa, you need to ask the locals. everyone is willing to help.
Sitorai-Mokhi-Khosa, for which I went to Bukhara, this is a place to combine Asia and Europe, you can feel what a peculiarity is in it... first we went into the main hall where the white hall is located where the Emir met guests, as well as some very beautiful guest rooms.
They were also allowed to go into the personal room of the Emir where he slept) they saw his huge bed
a little further there is a guest house, also very beautiful, they say he built this guest house for his beloved, who was never able to come from Russia...
in the very depths of the palace there is a 2-storey building for the women of the Emir, next to the building there is a pool where women could swim, since immediately from the building there is an exit to the pool connected with stairs
now briefly about the hotel Amelia: a cozy and warm hotel. the rooms are nice and original
staff speak eng, russ. responsive. hearty breakfast. the first day they gave pancakes, pancakes, jam, butter, the 2nd day they added sausages with buckwheat)
tea coffee yourself you can cook everything is on the table.
except for the cold weather on the 2nd day, everything was very good)
