We were "carried" to this hotel, thanks to the competition of reviews and stories on Turpravda. To be honest, we had no idea where we would end up. We only knew that we were going to the mountains (a little over 900 m above sea level), where there is a lot of entertainment for vacationers, accommodation in cottages and some information from tourists who had been there earlier (albeit at a different time of the year) and left their reviews here, Online. The time at which we happened to get there, to put it mildly, is not the season, for that - on my husband's birthday. Well, it’s okay that we were given only three days and two nights - at that moment, we didn’t care where to go, just to change the situation. We succeeded to the fullest!
And now, in order.
1. ROAD.

We were rushed to the glorious city of Stryi by a fast train, and, as it turned out, this Kharkov train usually goes to Truskavets, but on that day, in connection with repair work in the direction of this lovely resort, Stryi was the final destination of our train. When I called the hotel to tell them which train the tickets were taken for, the receptionist was taken aback. It was not known about the permutations in the directions, and the administrator assured that they knew all the trains in the local direction - it was a little annoying, because they didn’t want any problems at all. Despite this misunderstanding, she clearly wrote down all the data on our tickets and assured that the transfer would arrive at our car on time. And we didn't need more.
At 5 am, we were indeed met by a polite man near the car and led to the car. The first part of the road surprised us with its decent condition (before leaving, we had heard a lot about its extreme nature). What we hastened to share with the driver, to which we received an exhaustive answer: "You will see everything further. " Indeed, as soon as we turned off the Kyiv-Chop highway, the rally began - the poor Zhiguli. As it turned out, and it was not the worst option. In the village of Oriv, we were transferred to another, more passable car - UAZ (minibus type). Here we saw what "roads" can be. Some 5 km we drove for half an hour over potholes, huge stones and liquid clay - a real extreme! The old UAZ growled, puffed, but stubbornly crawled up the hill. As it turned out later, on the UAZ we were met by the hotel manager himself, who personally brought our things to the room.
2. TERRITORY.
The hotel greeted us with morning fog and a sea of magnificent snowdrops, with which the whole mountain and the territory were dotted - a magnificent sight! We have not yet seen this beauty in nature. I wanted to take a picture of every flower. And when the snow fell, these most delicate flowers were under a huge lace coverlet - beauty! How people can tear them, I have no idea.
The territory of the hotel is very interesting and well-planned. Detached solid wooden cottages are dispersed along the sides of the mountain, and are very famously inscribed in the surrounding magnificent nature, so much so that their inhabitants do not feel discomfort from their neighbors. At the same time, new trees, bushes and flowers were also planted. Everything is very harmonious. Near each cottage there is a brazier and a "woodcutter" with ready-made chopped firewood. We even saw a shoe shine device at the entrance. Shops around.

The "meal point", called "Cafe", is located in a separate building. Quite a cozy place - in the summer it partially "moves" to the open terrace. There is also an entertainment room for children - it is very convenient when parents are sitting at tables, children have something to do. If desired, this room can be turned into a cinema hall with a projector and a screen. Not far from this building, there is a playground and a gymnastic town.
There is also a sauna in the hotel, but we never got to it, so I won’t be clever about its quality.
On the territory of the "Carpathian meadows" there is a gorgeous cleared lake (rather, a small lake) with superbly clear water of magnificent blueness, where you can swim and fish for trout. It reminded us very much of the fairy tale "Twelve Months", and snowdrops and endless weather changes fueled these associations. A pavement was built there, and around the lake there are benches and a cozy gazebo.
Immediately outside the territory there is a so-called wild lake, where you can catch crucian carp. Of course, we also went there - beauty! And in it the water is turquoise and clean, and the lake itself is like a saucer. On the way to it are garages, stables and the "farm" of the hotel. Cows, calves, goats, pigs, chickens and rabbits live on the farm, and, of course, dogs guard them.
I must warn you that the hotel was built literally on a mountain, and not very gentle, so you have to walk up and down there. Although, I think, for active people, this is only a plus! The paths are paved with stone and fenced with wooden handrails. The area is very well maintained, despite its decent size. In general, everything is somehow at home.
3. NUMBER.

We lived in the administration building, where the so-called "rooms" were located on the second floor (separate entrance). At first, we were embarrassed by the fact that there is no bathroom in the room itself - it, or rather they, are located in the corridor. Then we thought that in our house, too, the bathroom is not in the bedroom and everything suits us, so why should this be considered a minus here? In general, in the end, we all liked it. Our room had everything you need for comfort, especially since you don’t need much, as there is something to do on the territory and in its environs. Also in the corridor there is, although not large, but quite a full-fledged refrigerator. The room has: beds, bedside tables, chest of drawers, mirror, sofa, table, TV, kettle, crockery. From bath accessories shampoo and soap. Towels are provided. From the room on one side - a view of the entrance to the hotel, "parking" of bicycles and the "Cafe" building, and on the other - access to the balcony, where you can see all the beauties of the surroundings and the lake.
And in our room we managed to catch Wi-Fi, however, from only one place - on the bedside table by the right bed. In general, Wi-Fi is there in the "Cafe". The speed is not ice, of course, you won’t be able to watch a movie, but it’s quite possible to check the mail and rummage through the sites.
Everywhere is clean, no complaints.
4. STAFF.
Above all praise! It feels like you're visiting old friends. Moreover, everyone is attentive and sympathetic - from the groom to the hotel manager. It is a colossal work to create such a team as one family. For 60 vacationers (maximum) - 40 staff, while they all do everything that is needed at the moment, absolute interchangeability. I have no doubt that a huge merit in this hotel manager. We were pleasantly surprised that there are such places in Ukraine - I just hug them all! Thank you! I’m sure that we didn’t get such an impression from the fact that we were there on a ticket won and that we were treated in a special way - it’s just so accepted there that it leaves a very pleasant impression.
5. FOOD.
This is the most dangerous event of the hotel, because you want to - eat, and if you don't want to - eat anyway. Everything is so tasty, wonderful and homely, straight, it’s impossible to stop! And if you also take into account that everything is completely their own there - milk, meat, cheese, preservation, mushrooms, berries, tea, etc. , then I think you understand everything. The menu is very diverse - there are salads, and first courses, and second courses, and on the grill, and desserts.
We were regaled with all sorts of Carpathian "stravas", I even specially rewrote some of the names:
"Starches";
"Chakluni";
"Benderiki";
"Kishene Hutsul";
"Banosh";
"Tertyukhi";
"Bombs";
"Goverla" and others.

Please note that there are also portions "yak for a mower"! So, keep in mind that you may need to either give up three meals a day, or take one serving for two, or take children (there is such a thing). Otherwise, with a long ride there, you can have a problem with extra pounds. Everything is served fresh - just cooked. The prices are very humane.
The bar is also quite diverse - I think any vacationer will find something to their taste.
There is no place to cook your own food, except for how to cook on the grill - it is not accepted. It is understandable - the cottages are wooden and the safety of guests is above all.
And I advise you to buy local tea at home - it’s very sincere, all the more so it was collected by the staff with their own hands, and dried and sorted by their florist.
6. ENTERTAINMENT.
They are there for every taste and every season, so, in my opinion, there is no "off-season" there either. And if, according to other tourists, it exists, then it has its advantages - there are few people (as we got) and the price is pleasant.
For entertainment, there is a shooting range where you can shoot from a bow, and a real, sporting one (I, as unprepared, I couldn’t even pull a bowstring), as well as from pneumatic weapons (here I came off to the fullest - I love this business since childhood). There is a forge where you will be taught how to forge a horseshoe (at least) and pottery, where you can, as I did, sculpt your own "masterpiece" - a glechik, a figurine. There is also billiards and table tennis, as well as mountain bikes. For lovers of horseback riding - "Klondike"! Own stable with seven beautiful well-groomed horses. I, too, for the first time in my life "saddled a trotter" - withstood only half an hour. I realized that it was not mine, but, for that, now I can brag that I rode a horse (or rather, they rode me).

For nature lovers, there is an opportunity to go fishing, picking mushrooms, berries or herbs, and, if necessary, your catch will be marinated or cooked, and for drying mushrooms they will be provided with a special "device" for this purpose - wood or electric. So, everything is thought out and it cannot but rejoice. And there are so many opportunities to explore the area! You just need to be vigilant, because the places are so wild that both wild boars and wolves come very close (during my horseback ride, I observed a meadow freshly plowed by wild boars). But, for that, roe deer often go to the local lake.
Fans of mountain skiing will also have the opportunity to "knock off the edge" and ride down the mountain - there is a ski lift. Of course, for experienced skiers it is not worth planning a purposeful trip "on skis" there - it will be rather weak. Although, the hotel management has plans to increase the descent - God forbid! It only "plusanet" the place. Also, it should be noted that there is a rental of ski equipment, as well as rubber boots and all kinds of outerwear. You can go ice skating, they are also available for rent.
We were very amused there by a local cat with a broken tail, which followed us on our heels (or rather, got under our feet) everywhere and everywhere. He gave us whole performances with somersaults and somersaults. In gratitude and as an encouragement, I had to feed him homemade boiled pork, taken on the road. Once he, sleeping in a large "woodshed" and sensing that his husband had gone out onto the porch, rushed down the mountain so much that we were worried that he would be killed - he was so skidded on the turns. He amused us with his downhill skiing. I don't think he's starving there - it's his hobby, pestering newly arrived guests. Since, on the day of our departure, a family arrived at the hotel, the cat quickly joined these new guests.
7. HOME.
The manager drove us back to Stryi again, only in other cars - first in a small UAZ (like a Bobby), and then in our own old, restored Mercedes with our own hands. This also added some warmth and sincerity to all the already pleasant impressions. After the extreme ascent, I had some kind of subconscious fear of the descent (alpine skiers will understand me), but everything turned out to be much calmer, although far from the motorway...
Goodbye, Carpathians!

* * *

Naturally, our few days of stay at the hotel flew by in an instant, and so we wanted to study it even deeper and explore it more widely. I think that we will certainly return there again - such places deserve it! I am sure that there is a charm in every season and in any weather. I am glad that in such a random way we managed to discover such a wonderful hotel. For me, this place was postponed not as a hotel, but as an "eco-village" - in my concept, this is exactly how it should be. And the air! And cleanliness! You can drink water from the tap. The best place to escape from the big city! And yet, there is some special aura - it is simply felt physically!
Of course, if you wish, you can find a lot of some minor flaws there, but, believe me, you don’t need to go there for this. If you are a fan of looking for flaws and something to complain about - do not waste your time and money. And if you are a fan of outdoor activities combined with the most beautiful virgin nature, and even ecological cleanliness - you definitely HERE!
HUGE HELLO TO ALL STAFF! THANKS A LOT!! !
