My wife has long dreamed of relaxing somewhere in the mountains, away from civilization, and this hotel suited us in all respects. Booked 2 months in advance and chose cottage number 3 which is closer to the lake. Having paid the entire amount, we immediately received a good discount, for which special thanks to the administration.
The hotel is located almost on the very top of the mountain at an altitude of 940 meters. The road to the hotel can be divided into 2 sections, after the exit from the Kyiv-Chop highway in the direction of the village. Orov's road is getting worse and worse, and right at the beginning of the ascent to the top of the mountain it is a mound of huge stones. We read a lot of reviews about this road, and expected a very bad road, but it turned out to be even worse than you could imagine. We have a front-wheel drive Peugeot 2008, the climb of about 3-4 km took about half an hour. Sometimes I had to get out of the car and decide how best to drive. In general, if you do not have a four-wheel drive car with a clearance of less than 165 cm, and you do not like extreme sports, then it is better to leave the car at the bottom of the mountain in the village and book a transfer. Nevertheless, we succeeded, and our Leva proudly showed off among the few off-road vehicles that climbed this mountain. But the second time I would not go to this climb.
Now about the hotel itself. The territory is quite large, located on the side of a mountain almost at its very top. On the one hand, a stunning view of Truskavets opens, on the other, the nearest mountains. There are wild forests around, where it is better not to go without rubber boots, as there are snakes. The main disadvantage is that there are no trodden paths in the forest where one could safely take a walk. In total, there are 9 cottages and several rooms in the main building. The cottages are located on a slope at a good distance from each other, so that the neighbors will definitely not disturb your vacation. But be prepared to climb uphill to the restaurant several times a day for 3-4 minutes, as it is much higher than all other buildings.

All cottages are 2-storey, and differ only in that some have a bathroom on both floors, and some only on 1m. They are usually designed for 5-7 people. There was only one bathroom in our cottage, on the 1st floor there was a living room with a table, a sofa and a TV, and on the 2nd floor there were two bedrooms with large beds. It is forbidden to cook in the houses, there is only a kettle, a tea set and a refrigerator. In principle, the houses are very comfortable. On the 5th day of our stay, a mouse started up, it wanted to eat our gingerbread. The administration was informed, and the next day the mouse did not bother us anymore.
Wi-Fi is available only near the administration building and in the restaurant, but we came here just to take a break from the Internet, so for us it was even a plus.
On the territory there is a small artificial lake with trout, carp and carp. True, there were only two cupids, and one of them was caught by one of the vacationers, but trout is stocked from time to time. I caught a trout on the first day, and we will cook it for dinner. You can also swim in this pond, the water is very clean. There is also a very small lake in the forest, where very small carp are caught, but the place is very cozy and quiet. We even liked it there more than on the main pond. In addition, there is a carpentry, forge and pottery on the territory, where you can visit master classes and make valuable souvenirs with your own hands as a keepsake. From entertainment: ride horses, go mushroom picking with a guide, shoot at a shooting range or play paintball. Almost any service is paid. For children, free master classes are held 2 times a day in the playroom near the restaurant. There is also a small playground with 2 swings, a sandbox, small houses with a slide and a carousel, which needs to be renovated.
Meals at the hotel are complex, but you can order something from the general menu at any time. Usually for lunch they bring you a printout of what will be cooked tomorrow, and you have a choice of 2 options for different dishes. During the week that we were in the hotel, the dishes were practically not repeated. The food is delicious, the portions are big enough to eat. All dairy products of own production. The only negative is that meals are paid separately. Be prepared to shell out about 500 UAH per day for 2 with a child.

From the hotel you can walk to Tustan, but the journey takes more than an hour. You go there all the time, you go down the mountain, and back, already tired, you go up all the time. So it is better not to go with small children. In addition, you will pass the oil base, where unattached dogs run around, take sausage with you, otherwise you will have to fight back with something.
We were very pleased with the rest in this unforgettable place, largely due to the hospitality of the administration and all the staff! We recommend the hotel to everyone who loves silence and nature.
