It was necessary to wait for half an hour near the barrier, the reception is a kennel, there is a large gap in the entrance door to the room, the floor in the room creaks like in a shack, 2 wooden beds moved together are very uncomfortable and will never replace one double bed, it was very cold in the room at night, the bathroom is very primitive and uncomfortable, there is a huge boiler above the Polish stand-alone toilet (take care of your head), the Polish washbasin is jammed and very uncomfortable, the next day they didn’t clean the room until 14:00, there are cabinets with household supplies in the corridor in front of the rooms (view 3 stars in Ukrainian), from the ski storage room in ski boots and with skis on your shoulder, you need to overcome a difficult climb from the hotel courtyard and cross the highway on foot to the ski lift (about 300 meters), the breakfast was very modest. I booked a room for 2 nights, but on the first day (my birthday) I was told at the reception upon check-in that they settled according to prepayment in the neighboring building, which looks like a two-story barn with an external metal ladder to climb to the second floor, metal steps to the street to climb to the room on the 2nd floor is very steep and uncomfortable. My wife and I were just shocked by everything, we wanted to give up the hotel. But the hotel told us that the money for two nights will not be returned to us even partially (9900 hryvnia for 2 nights). We spent the night for one night, we did not stay for the second. In my understanding, this hotel absolutely does not deserve the level recommended by booking, and the staff skillfully, using the location of the hotel, removes the prepayment and then puts you in a rooming house of the level of roadside shacks. It was a truly shocking birthday present. Hotel Arofa is located just a few meters further, but new, modern with good service and almost half the price.
