Something about catering.
The first time I was in "Intourist", by chance. Mixed feelings visited me. I remembered the cult film "ACCA", in my opinion, nothing has changed in the interior. The service is good, all the staff are friendly, trying to help in any situation. The pool had animation "for an amateur". We paid for breakfast and lunch, so we had to dine in establishments located in the hotel. Restaurants are different, with different pricing policy and quality of food. Separately, I want to talk about the "44th parallel". Do not go there! They cook terribly! The prices are exorbitant! The restaurant management takes advantage of the fact that there are a lot of people, conferences and symposiums are held in the hotel, people want to sit somewhere in the evening, chat, have a bite. I don’t know how you have to disrespect yourself and your profession so much to cook so disgustingly! Maybe this is my subjective opinion, but I have never paid so much for low-quality food. The last point in a nightmarish dinner was put by the waitress when she brought the check. Out of curiosity, I carefully re-read it, I was just wondering why 512 hryvnias for two, and found that bread was included, but we didn’t order it, and they didn’t bring it to us. A trifle, but not pleasant. When I asked why bread was included in the bill, the waitress answered "AUTOMATICALLY" with a blue eye! Like this. The next day we went to "Mom's dumplings", and did not lose. Reasonable prices, good food, no pretensions, almost like home.
