Ялта летом Yalta in summer

I'll try to be objective, we learned about the hotel from friends who traveled in 2010 and they really liked it. In advance (at least 3 months) we booked an improved room, at one price, which later changed upwards, although not significantly, but the sediment remained. The road to the hotel took 10 minutes on the stairs through an abandoned park. We were greeted warmly, treated to champagne, settled without any problems in the room that we ordered. As I wrote, the room was ordered - IMPROVED (I don’t know, of course, what they call the standard), but I didn’t see anything from the improvements: the TV is clearly too small, the window is made of carpentry, the tiles in the bathroom were bought at a sale, the shower is small. What was deposited in the memory of 2 doors to the toilet !! ! One entrance from the room, the second exit to the corridor : ) This is despite the fact that the corridor has an exit from the room.
The beach is very far away and a tourist (who travels uphill at a speed of 5 km / h) and Ikarus are transported there on LAZ buses. Buses depart every half an hour from 8 to 9.30 (morning arrival), and then in the afternoon from 14.00 to 15.00 (lunch arrival).
As for food, I was very annoyed that in order to catch the bus at 8.00 we had to queue at almost 6.30 in the morning (and this is on vacation! ) And then we were not the first. The food was very mediocre - cut sausage from the cheapest, smoked cheese, but I wanted it to be cheap but hard. The stew did not have a special taste, and the scrambled eggs were almost every day. The pancakes were very tasty, but you had to stand in line for them. The views that opened from the dining room were of course amazing, but because we had to rush, we could not enjoy them. In general, I would advise rest to not very pretentious people who like to rest in the best traditions of the USSR and do not expect to see the Hilton hotel. As for me, a solid 3 no more no less.
