Why did the choice fall on Kurpaty, since it has single rooms and the price did not go off scale at the beginning of September. The single rooms all face north, but these are not even mountains, and your gaze rests on an earthen wall with trees. But the plus is that the room is not hot. There are no air conditioners anywhere, and on the south side, the rooms are simply all hands on deck from the heat, although the sea view is spoiling. The room is old and has been refurbished. In short, I expected the best and on the first day I was a little disappointed, but then I got used to it and by 10 it was already like a native. The furniture is shabby, the plumbing is all old, so only the taps have been changed, but since everything is Czech, it looks more or less invigorating. The bathroom is large with a huge mirror on the entire wall, it used to be very beautiful, but it has already become cloudy from time to time. Very dark in both the bathroom and the room. The room is big. TV, remote did not work. Refrigerator - old Dnepr or something like that, but worked fine. Balcony with two folding chairs. Cleaning was mediocre without enthusiasm, but the garbage was taken out regularly. In general, not a fountain and the first impression is miserable. Corridors are dark. You run in circles like a squirrel in a wheel. There is a twenty-year-old carpet on the floor and not a single picture on the wall. Elevators can not cope with the number of tourists, so there are always queues. I walked to the dining room all the time. The dining room is an ordinary canteen, the waiters do not have time to serve at all. The second is usually done by yourself. No procedures are included in the cost of a commercial tour, but in summer they are not needed. The pool is open only in winter and when there was a storm, there was nowhere to swim. But all these shortcomings are covered by their beach - this is the Golden Beach. You get to the beach by elevator directly from your floor, so you don’t have to dress too much, but go straight in your swimsuit. You can always drive to the room if you need anything. The beach is wide enough, although not very long, but there is enough space for everyone. The water is very clear, even during a storm, even after 3 days of a storm. For the sake of what it is worth going - for the sake of the beach. There are tour desks, prices are standard as elsewhere. Everything is on time and efficient. Traveled all over Crimea with them this year. There is a cash desk of PrivatBank, you can withdraw money from the card without a commission, which is convenient without having to look for an ATM. Will I go there again? Not sure. Only if I don’t find other optimal options with a good beach and a more or less normal price in the summer in the South Coast.
