There were no power outages. Drinking water in 5 liters. bottles were delivered to the dining room, from where we carried it to our room.
The shops on the embankment are very expensive (10 eggs = 100 rubles, glazed cheese = 40 rubles). In a cafe, you can have a normal lunch for two for 500-600 rubles.
Lunch and dinner can be ordered in the dining room of Marianida, it will be cheaper. In the village of Veseloy (5km by minibus) there is a shop with normal prices.
The place is wonderful, very beautiful nature around, suitable for a quiet and relaxing holiday, the music from the coast is almost inaudible in the evenings.
Right after we arrived in the morning, we saw dolphins driving fish to the shore and swimming next to people. The long beach, more than 500 m long, is a natural place untouched by civilization, suitable for camping on the shore in tents. At the very end of the coastline, a hiking trail begins through Mount Karaul-Oba to the Novy Svet to the Tsarskoye Beach. The bottom near the shore consists of large up to 15 kg. rounded stones scattered in the sea at 20-30m. When you sail further from the coast, the stones end and the sandy flat bottom begins, strewn with crustaceans and many other representatives of the Black Sea fauna. The depth of the sea at 50-100m from the coast is 3-5m, everything is perfectly visible at the bottom and available for snorkeling.

I really wanted to take a break from the stuffy, busy city, and when I arrived here, I was surprised that there were still such recreation centers: wildlife, small wooden houses, a large clean beach. Since the husband was “not allowed to travel abroad” for a long time because of work, only Crimea remained for seaside recreation. We climbed it up and down and the rest there was varied (from tents to Yalta with an individual 3-story cottage).

After reading the reviews, I finally decided to write my own. We have been resting there with my husband for 8 years already. Since the husband was “not allowed to travel abroad” for a long time because of work, only Crimea remained for seaside recreation. We climbed it up and down and the rest there was varied (from tents to Yalta with an individual 3-story cottage). As a result, we settled on Marianid. I can write as a person resting there for quite a long time and in different seasons (spring, summer, autumn) that there are pluses and minuses. Of the minuses: 1. The lack of full-fledged shops and the market (but you can hold out for a couple of weeks if you don’t take food at the base). 2. Lack of a pharmacy (mommies with children take a minimum of medicines with you). In Sudak, apart from condoms and nasal drops, it is difficult to find anything. 3. For many, it can be somewhat overhead to go down to the sea and back up. 4. Administrator - "super". But we try to stay away from the staff, although for almost 10 years we know everyone by sight. 5. The quality of the rooms leaves much to be desired, but we have never had problems with water, sewerage, etc. amenities. The choice of numbers is up to you. 6. Lack of procurement material for a fire (but this is a problem for most of the Crimea). Pros: 1. Complete detachment from the city and a large crowd of people, there is no evening defile on the embankment in white suits and high heels (who has passed Yalta, Alushta will understand)2. Beach and sea - free access and plenty of space3. Nature - junipers. If you agree with the owner of the base and you can become a tent for an additional fee - you will not regret it!! ! Until Kinder appeared, we practiced. When one year old, we again went to "nature" : ). In a year, the child was already climbing mountains, saw a live fox, hares, hedgehogs, and other trifles. You can't buy this. 4. If you are traveling without offspring and with a car, you should not take food at the base. 5. For ladies: unobtrusive trips to the sea, to the dining room, to the mountains - anti-cellulite rest. : )). Checked. 6. For men and women: the smell of junipers, mountain air and walks in the mountains completely kill the desire to smoke for some time (own experience). 7. A small herd of horses (located on the mountain above the houses). If your uncle likes you, he can ride. At the age of 3, my Kinder sat on a horse bareback, fed them, and then remembered about horses all year long. 8.2 weeks of good rest there and a year without the problems of flu, runny nose, etc. You decide. But in any vacation, wherever you are, there will be + and -.
