We were in the Tatar Bay last summer, there were great memories. Clean sand, nice beach, amazing waves. At first they stopped at private traders, but then they moved to Rio and did not regret it. Good company and a full range of services for outdoor activities. While the children were swimming in the sea and climbing the slides, my husband and I "hunted" for the wind and waves)) A great place for windsurfing and kiteboarding.

Traveled with children in the summer of 2011. Nice, beautiful place, but it's only because of nature. And everything else, if possible, then remove. Linen, towels are not changed, they are cleaned very poorly, there is not enough staff, the girls run around (maids) like mad, because. vacationers demand at least once a week a change of linen, but it is simply not there! so they wash it, immediately dry it, and give it out .

I must say right away that the boarding house was chosen solely because of the sea and the sandy beach for children, because. accommodation, service and food are top three with a big minus.
Sea: the beach starts at the door, you can go to drink morning coffee right on the beach : ) great? yeah!
Room: standard room is very small, sofa, two single beds, wardrobe, refrigerator and table. The bathroom is old, shower tray, oilcloth, plastic shelf. The room has linoleum, if you really ask, you can beg for a carpet.
Veranda: some, like us, will be lucky, you will have a veranda smoothly turning into a common path - linoleum on the street (a drop dead house owner's decision! Like, not a blonde), under which water flows in the rain, linoleum floats... Kapets! But on the veranda there are good wicker chairs and a tiny table.
Service: absent as a class. Cleaning is symbolic, irregular. I bought a broom in the market - I cleaned it myself.
Food: horrible! Porridge is a mess. Puree or buckwheat with canned food and a dead tomato. . . Refuse if you can. There are many normal cafes in the vicinity, you could eat (normally eat, high quality) for 25 UAH. in a cafe on the circle of the village of Mysovoy.
Transfer: I can’t say anything about myself, we got there ourselves. I know that in Shchelkino there are normal buses with a regular schedule right under the trains from / to Lenino.
Prices: in 2010 from 60 euros per room without meals, in 2011 - from about 90 euros with meals. Children will be counted separately. As far as I know, she said so.
Ouch! forgot - mosquitoes! This is a kapets, in the evenings they fly into the mouth and even into the nose, even when swimming in the sea, no means help! The children walked around as if with chickenpox - all bitten... There are vast swamps nearby, I looked on the map, and this biting joy flies from there.

We arrived and were pleasantly surprised that in Ukraine there can be a boarding house of this level. Comfortable rest, good homemade food, and good-natured attitude of the staff towards vacationers.
