Hello, my name is Irina! I am from Moscow! I usually never write reviews about hotels, but having visited this amazing place, I could not help but write, as there are few such places on Earth! Rested with three children (15 years, 4 years, 1.5 years). The beach, nature, air certainly liked it! But I would like to highlight the Aquamarine tourist complex itself.

Near the "Aquamarine" there are other boarding houses. I looked into all these boarding houses, but "Aquamarine" is the best! (tourist complex) Firstly, hospitable hosts! I would like to thank Mary. I became very friendly with her. Maria will solve any problem! She is a very generous person!
Secondly, in the tourist complex itself they cook very tasty food. Good and hospitable chefs! I want to thank Natalia and Alexander
Thirdly, there is a juniper grove next to the tourist complex. Every day I went with the children there and breathed fresh air. Unusual aroma of juniper. . . I think that this summer my children got healthier
Fourth, good location of the hotel. Away from the market, the embankment, and therefore away from the noise!
I advise everyone to go there! Looking forward to next summer! I want to go there again and again!

For a long time we thought, chose a place to stay in the Crimea. Where you would like to relax, the prices are completely inadequate. Accidentally, an advertisement for an inexpensive vacation in Aquamarine caught my eye on the Internet. We were in Kanaka many years ago. We remember it as a deserted beach in August and a broken toe after swimming.

We seemed to be in a lost world. Then there were several Soviet boarding houses. We lived in the Kanaka boarding house, in a house on the shore. The new building was still under construction. Now there are many private boarding houses and more are being built. Aquamarine is the farthest from the sea, but only 10 minutes walk. Aquamarine is a family business of a family from Simferopol. They also have a hotel near the sea, on the 2nd floor above the Kharchi store. Reviews about the tourist complex (good) were only on their website. We took the risk of booking a room. Our choice turned out to be a good one. The tourist complex is mainly designed for family and corporate holidays.
There are only 3-bed single and double rooms. You can also deliver rollaways. Since there were two of us, they gave us a discount. The hotel has a cafe. 3 meals a day cost 110 UAH. The downside is that you are tied in time to food. But we came to the conclusion that eating at the hotel is definitely better. Near the sea, the choice of establishments is small. There is a risk of poisoning. Yes, the prices are different. The kitchen in Aquamarine absolutely suited us. It may not be to everyone's taste. We were very satisfied. It was nice to talk with Natasha, who wished everyone a good appetite, and specially for us brewed green tea with herbs in a teapot.
The hotel room is spacious. We lived on the west side. From the balcony there is a beautiful panorama of the Kanak gully. On the one hand the sea, on the other Karabi-yayla. Opposite is a cypress alley and a juniper grove. We just enjoyed this air. The room has a bathroom, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning.
Of the furniture, a wardrobe, bedside tables, a table, an ottoman, plastic furniture on the balcony, a towel dryer. The only thing that upset us was the lack of hot water. But in the heat it is nice to wash and cool.
The beaches in Kanaka are huge and free. There are sun loungers with umbrellas and even hammocks. The seabed is a large pebble, the depth is almost immediately from the shore. We bought rubber slippers on the market for 50 UAH. And most do without them. Half of the beaches are the territory of the Kanaka boarding house. There are always much fewer people there, there is a promenade with pines and cypresses, where you can sit on benches or even lie down on a swing bench. If you climb up above the boarding house into the juniper grove, you can relax in two old pavilions and admire the beautiful view of the bay. On the left side of the bay are the beaches of the old camp sites "Volga" and "Dnepr". Many private boarding houses and hotels were built nearby.
The best, as we were told by a local taxi driver, boarding house "Kaspiy".
Excursions are organized mainly by sea. We wanted to go to the caves, but for 300 UAH. broke off from a person. From Kanaki you need to get out by car along a mountain serpentine. Not all children tolerate it. We traveled from Siferopol to Kanaka by a private minibus. They paid cheap. But the way back cost almost twice as much, and also with two transfers. We took a taxi to Rybachy. From Rybachy to Simferopol tickets sold out in advance. Let's go to Alushta. The 30 km minibus traveled for an hour. From Alushta, too, there were no tickets for the right time. I had to take a taxi. So buy your tickets in advance or plan your time and money.
In general, Kanaka is a quiet, relaxing holiday, healthy air, clear sea, 2-kilometer uncrowded beach, beautiful nature. Here you experience complete peace. This is a resort for families or a warm company.
It rarely rains here. Usually there are thunderstorms in the mountains, but they do not reach Kanaki. The sea temperature was 22-24. The sea is calm. For us, the main thing is to swim. So we were very happy with our stay. We will definitely return to Kanaka again.
