I want to share my bitter experience of renting housing through intermediaries. I decided with my husband and 3-year-old son to go on vacation in Ordzhonikidze (the choice fell on Ordzho on the advice of our friends). A friend said that at the bus stop they would pick up the right housing for us without any problems. Arriving by minibus, the first thing that struck me was a huge group of “hungry” people who ran up to us, “purse hunters” - rental housing intermediaries. A woman named Zhenya came up first, 3 more people stood behind her, in case her options did not suit us. I didn't like this obsession. According to Zhenya, she can offer housing to choose from throughout the village. We would be satisfied with an option no more than 350 hryvnia per day with all amenities. For this amount she had an apartment after renovation on the 4th floor. Other accommodation was more expensive. The apartment really turned out to be after repair, the appearance suited us and we paid off on the spot.

Having laid out all the things, we decided to wash our hands and wash ourselves. And then it turned out that there was no water, there was neither cold nor hot. The husband went in search of Zhenya. When she returned with her, it turned out that there was no water supply in the houses from time to time, and if we want to constantly use water, then we need the private sector. And it costs already 400 UAH / day. And an apartment with all the amenities, not quite with all the amenities. We agreed to pay extra and moved to the private sector. The house was closer to the embankment, which we were glad at first, but on the first night, our baby could not fall asleep because of the music coming from the embankment, and closing the windows, it became very stuffy. Therefore, the first day was the most difficult for us. My husband and I even managed to quarrel because he insisted on choosing housing via the Internet, and I was against it. Well, he turned out to be right.

On the second day, I went to the central beach by 9 am, there was no place there, sitting on the rocks, instead of the promised sand, my mood dropped and I went for a milkshake to raise it. In line, I talked with the girls from Kyiv, and they told me that you need to come to the central beach and take your seats early. And if we want to sleep a little longer, and then sunbathe, then we need to go to the beach in Dvuyakornaya Bay. It is not so equipped there, but there is a lot of free space and the sea is also very beautiful. They chose their housing via the Internet on the official website of the village and are satisfied with their vacation. I remembered my husband's words about choosing housing via the Internet ...Returning from the beach to our room, they drilled something and knocked a hammer all day. When asked to stop the noise so that the child could sleep, we were told that all the questions were for the owner, who is not now, and the builder needs to finish the work. We went again for Zhenya.

She explained that the owner left yesterday and would return in a week. And that the money cannot be returned, because the owner already has it. Be patient guys. That was her answer. The whole vacation was terrible. We never saw the owner of the cottage, but we heard his workers with hammers. Ordzhonikidze is a beautiful place, but accommodation must be selected in advance and negotiated with the owners so as not to spoil your mood for the whole vacation.
