We visited Tarkhankut for the second time this year. And we want to go there again. It takes a long time on its own, because buses run infrequently. The 1st time we went to Olenevka from Simferopol, the 2nd time from Evpatoria. And both times we had to take a taxi to get there quickly. It takes 2.5 hours to get from Simferopol by taxi. by bus - 3.5-4 hours, plus the time to wait. From Yevpatoria to Olenevka, it takes 2 hours to go by bus (a ticket costs 26 UAH), a taxi takes a little over an hour (250-300 UAH). So choose which is more expensive, time or money.
We lived in cottage town No. 1 in a house with separate amenities. We booked back in early May. It was the only free one. We thought that we got the worst, but it turned out to be the other way around. The location is very good. . Only the audibility is good and someone is scratching at the door at night. Take clothespins with you, otherwise your swimsuits and towels will fly away. If there are any problems in the room, you can report it either in writing in a special magazine in the main building, or orally, and they'll fix it right away.
We were fed in a summer cafe called the Yug restaurant, opposite the entrance. We liked the food. Somewhere I read a review about this cafe, where it was called a high-quality Soviet canteen. There is always fruit for lunch, delicious buns for dinner. For those who don’t have enough food, there are shops in the buildings. They sell pastries, confectionery, water, dairy products. There are bars and a pizzeria on the beach. Usually, one or two cars with fruits. one way by taxi. By the way, the boarding house kindly offered to buy us return bus tickets from Olenevka to Evpatoria.

We didn’t swim in such a warm sea in June. Degrees 24-25. And near the shore, the water is just like warmed up. Although, they say, there are cold currents. Up to a depth of 50 m from the coast. Resting here, they remembered Croatia. and beautiful. The coast and the bottom of the sea are sandy. . For children there is a playground and an inflatable pool on the beach. Excursions around Tarkhankut are organized only by sea - along the bay, to Atlesh and to Dzhangul. We went to Atlesh by boat in May. Now we decided to go to Dzhangul. an hour costs 80 UAH. per person. We went with Victor, with whom we already went to Atlesh. I recommend. It costs 150 UAH. per person. But he is lucky further, to the Bolshoy Kastel beam with a landing for half an hour. There you can swim and see the remains of the ancient settlement. A beautiful place. If you wish, you can land on one of the beaches of Dzhangul. On the way, Victor tells a lot of interesting things. . Tarkhankut must be seen from the sea.
So our vacation turned out to be amazing. A cozy house, 3 meals, swimming in the warm clear sea, the divine beauty of sunsets, wild rocks, bays, caves and grottoes. Tarkhankut charges with its amazing energy. And such a vacation is not cheap in Crimea.
