We were with a child in "Almaz" all June, and the impressions about this place are only positive. I will say right away that we are not pretentious in terms of conditions, knowing that Crimea is now very expensive, we were looking for a place where we could spend a whole month economically. People who are used to to "luxury style", definitely, it is contraindicated to go there! Many human thanks to the cooks-students from Krivoy Rog, for the fact that the cutlets were 85% meat, pilaf was really pilaf, borscht -borscht, etc. The smart policy of Almaz's management invites non-resident staff to the kitchen, not burdened with family ties and numerous relatives... (otherwise, the entire nearest village of Morskoy would have eaten at those grubs).
The rooms there are different . . as they say on any wallet. We lived in a suite, and it was brand new, just after renovation (probably lucky). When everything is new (from furniture to bed linen and
mattresses) it’s really nice to relax. The ants in the toilet annoyed a little... but you can’t get away from them.
The beach is wonderful, lots of space (there are 2 sunshades) and a shower. You can walk in the evening along the sea all the way to the Cape Kabany.
In the evening you can play tennis, badminton, basketball - all this can be done on the sports ground, equipment is given out or you can take your own. Anatolyevna and her daughter Sveta! Thank you for the contests, games, tournaments and quizzes that you held in June 2011. We have not seen this even in 5-star hotels in the world!! !

Literally tonight I returned from this "paradise" of our planet as the village of Morskoy, the boarding house "Almaz" and immediately could not resist writing a review about this "beautiful" place. It is no coincidence that I want to call my review - ASS OF THE WORLD !!! Having fallen under the influence of one of our distant friends, a company of 3 people personally took the money to the travel company in the amount of 355 Ukrainian dollars per person for every day of living in this wonderful boarding house.

Literally tonight I returned from this "paradise" of our planet as the village of Morskoy, the boarding house "Almaz" and immediately could not resist writing a review about this "beautiful" place. It is no coincidence that I want to call my review - ASS OF THE WORLD !!!
Having fallen under the influence of one of our distant friends, a company of 3 people personally took the money to the travel company in the amount of 355 Ukrainian dollars per person for every day of living in this wonderful boarding house. At the same time, we were promised - 3 fabulous meals a day, an excellent Suite room, a wonderful private beach, etc. etc. And so, having quickly collected things, we, without suspecting anything, rush to Akura to spend 10 unforgettable days of vacation. Who would have thought that they really turn out unforgettable
taken, only from the reverse side of the sarcasm we are anticipating !!!
So that you don’t think that I have nothing to compare with, I’ll note that I traveled almost all of Crimea - these are Feodosia, Yalta, Alushta, Partenit, Faros, Miskhor, Semeiz, etc. , in general, almost the entire South Coast. But now separately about Almaz, God forgive me!
Suite"
With what a smile on his face we were greeted by the local "animator" and in his person the administrator Stepanych, who had stayed there to live since the time of Ochakov and the conquest of the Crimea. He looked to be 102 years old. He told us that in this boarding house only one room is better than ours (building number 9) and how lucky we are!
We were pleasantly surprised by this luxurious chicken coop consisting of two rooms with a total size of no more than 10-12m2, which was last refurbished in the early 90s, as well as one small bar of soap in the package (whoever was in any hotel over the hill knows that such a bar of soap is changed in the hotel bathroom every day) and a roll of toilet paper started!! ! So the whole point is that these attributes, as we were told by the staff of the boarding house, you, so to speak, for 10 days. These are 3 healthy men!! ! It is not difficult for us to replenish these "strategic" reserves at our own expense, but this is a waste of time and, in the end, the REPUTATION OF THE BOARDING HOUSE!! ! Further more. We could not help but be surprised by the fact that the bed linen will be changed for us in the event that we stay for one more race - NOT EARLIER!! ! And sorry - 10 days! And how can you want to stay there, in principle! People can come there 2 times - the first and the last!! ! Also in the room there was - a TV with a diagonal of hell knows how small, 3 beds, a refrigerator, a wardrobe with shelves so voluminous that T-shirts had to be crushed into a ball to fit it there, air conditioning, a desk, cobwebs on cracked ceilings, dust.
At the exit from the room there was no elementary bench and urn (I note that we are all smokers). When we asked to put an urn at the exit so that we could dispose of the bulls somewhere, they brought us an empty plastic bottle and kindly informed us that after cutting off the top of it, it would perfectly pass for the urn !! ! Top class!!!
I will note separately the "Persian" carpet to the room. Obviously, the director of this Paradise place was simply sorry to throw away his old, moth-eaten carpet and he descended from heaven to earth to cut it into small pieces and spread it in the luxury rooms of his property. Stepping on it without shoes is UNSANITARY!
Now about the bath department. The door to the closet has no latch, no lock, no chain - probably in order to give a certain courage to visitors. Tiles are missing in places and stupidly smeared with plaster. On the floor - AGAIN THIS DISGUSTING PALACE!! ! The toilet seat will burst in two places and will bite you hard as hell when you try to attack it with a crouch!! ! Hot water available only in the evenings - sorry for the minor inconvenience!!!
Case of life. We stopped there on the eve of the Independence Day holiday, as you know, 4 for Ukraine rested. When on the third day the garbage from the only bucket in the room not only fell out, but also began to spread over our vast room, we asked to clean the room, to which we received a reasonable answer - “what do you want? After all, the holidays. . . The people are resting! And damn it, we came here to work! They cleaned our house only after the holidays and, under our careful supervision, wiped the dust and swept away the cobwebs. Eureka!
Tavern (aka canteen)
Breakfast from 8-00 to 8-30, dinner from 18-00 to 18-30, for lunch they gave much more from 13-00 to 13-40!! ! What a BACK TO USSR!! ! Of course, I don’t know, maybe it’s a pleasure for someone to engage in masochism and wake up on vacation from 7-30 in order to have time to go to breakfast, but not for us! To our great happiness, just near our building there was a nice cafe where you could have a delicious breakfast. Thanks Andrey - did not let me die!
Freshman girls from some culinary university in Ukraine work in the canteen. Not to say that the food is bad, but also good to say the language does not turn. Girls, I think, are not provided with a variety of products to reveal all their professional talents.
The following surprised me. Somehow, returning from the beach, we decided to have tea in the dining room along the way, without going into the room. What were the disapproving glances of the employees and instructive conversations about the fact that it turns out you can’t go into our wonderful dining room with bare shoulders !! ! Fuck it! Service, what can I say!
The director of this wonderful place has been a pensioner for 30 years and the rules there are appropriate !! ! Unfortunately, this boarding house is one of the first in the Crimea, and since then nothing has changed there either in moral ethics or in the surrounding aesthetics. How I would like such institutions in the Crimea to slowly begin to reach the level of Turkey, Egypt, Thailand. It's the same money and even cheaper. But this dream, apparently, is not destined to come true.
Sea Sea….
The beach is private, quite tolerable and almost deserted. Close to the sea, 2 minutes. For additional services such as sun loungers, you will be required to pay an additional fee. Nevertheless, we did not throw a coin into the sea in order to return to this place.
Village
To p. Morskoe walk along the road no more than half a kilometer along the road. Beware of cars at night, as there are no paths for pedestrians. In the village there are 2 more, less large taverns - Shuttle and Rusich!! ! Crap, crap and more crap.
In order to get out of this unfavorable situation, we cruised every evening around the surrounding cities, Sudak, Koktebel, Feodosia, Novyi Svet. At least there is life! And the village of Morskoye is doomed to extinction.
Findings:
1) If you want to experience the buzz of the rest of the USSR - you are here!
2) You are over 60 and you are looking for solitude for a lot of money - you are here!
3) You finally want to be disappointed in life - you are here!
I hope this review will save at least someone, save someone's anxious soul from acts like those committed by us !! ! It's your own fault!
