Good location, quite quiet in the hotel, to the sea - 7 minutes at a leisurely pace, but since walking along the green alley, without cars, it does not bother at all.
In the hotel itself - a cozy patio, swings, barbecue, children's sandbox. Nice to get through the heat of the day.
We had a room on the top floor with a kitchen. I was afraid that it would be hot from the roof - but no, everything was blown well, the air conditioner was turned on only in the very heat.
From the balcony - a view of the mountains and the sea, it is very pleasant to have breakfast or drink tea in the evening.
There are no complaints about the room, the situation is simple, but everything you need is there, all the furniture is normal, ironed bed linen, towels in sufficient quantity. Definitely worth your money.
The only small minus is that the external air conditioning unit hangs on the balcony, and if you turn it on, the hum is quite noticeable) I don’t know if it was like that in all rooms, or only in ours.
I would especially like to note the presence of a safe, the presence of a laundry service (and for a very reasonable amount! ), And an excellent stationary crib, which was provided to us upon request. This is not even found in every 3 * -4 * hotel, pleased. I travel a lot, there is something to compare.
In general, we will be in Crimea again - we will return to Valencia with pleasure)
Food: we tried to eat almost everywhere, Comrade Sonya had a lot, hearty, tasty, but the children were not particularly impressed, so we ate only 1 time. In Barokat and in the Volga, ordinary canteen food, they usually had dinner there. Delicious, not expensive. In the Black Pearl, the children liked pancakes for second breakfast) My husband liked dinners, and everything was very fatty and expensive with the children) Pizza in an octopus is delicious. Breakfast and lunch were mostly cooked by ourselves.
Sea: The sea was different. In the mornings it was clear and clean, but the river that flowed from the mountains into the sea brought a lot of dirt. We swam near the "Black Pearl" and so it was dirty there very often. And a lot of jellyfish, really a lot.
Kanaka herself left mixed impressions. On the one hand, beauty, the sea, mountains, a long beach strip, juniper. But on the other hand, everywhere you look, there is a lot of devastation, one gets the impression that Kanaka needs a good "owner". The first week of rest at the main entrance to the beach was a huge garbage mountain - tin.
In the end, we liked Valencia. Kanaka is still a vacation for families with small children, our children are 13 and 16, and we were bored.
I have studied Crimea very well, there are almost no places where our family has not visited. For me personally, Kanaka is truly a heavenly place. The best on the entire coast of Crimea. It is especially suitable for rest and recovery of people with respiratory problems, which is very important for our family. Rested in June of this year for the 4th time. Last year (2013) were in June and September. I recommend Kanaka to everyone and especially the mini-boarding house "Valencia"
