I wrote a review on another site, but can you imagine? ! - it was removed. I didn't write anything bad, though. I just expressed my subjective opinion, to which I am entitled. Instead of adequately responding to criticism, the owners simply simply eliminate the problem, apparently, they simply don’t know how to do it differently. Outrage knows no bounds! Maybe they won't remove it. We rested at the beginning of July 2011 in the Gezlev Gates. I liked the boarding house itself - it is located close to the sea, away from the noise, the rooms are standard, without frills, of course, but we did not expect this, a comfortable courtyard, a small number of rooms. BUT. . . The room is not cleaned, you need to go ask to do it, sometimes beg. If there was a broom available, I would sweep the sand, which is in bulk there, myself, but, apparently, it is the only one for all the rooms and we were not given it, so we had to wait for the maid. Of course, I don’t demand that they smile at me all the time, but looking at the maid who came to us to clean up (a young girl, by the way), it seemed that she had overate lemons with grapefruit juice - with such a sour and displeased look she worked. In general, this is the problem of the entire staff. No one will smile at you there. Maybe sometimes the owner himself. The hostess is still the same aunt. You can’t get snow from her in winter and, judging by her displeased look, you begin to understand who the rest of the staff takes as an example from. In the dining room, the owner's daughter and the son of one of the administrators, Anton, work as waiters. Both are equally unfriendly. Anton tried to transfer my child to another table by order, because, you see, there were leftover appliances from the previous breakfasters, and new ones had to be brought here. It’s good that I came up in time, otherwise my six-year-old son was already about to run away from there. And someone has a small child, excuse me, did not run to the toilet, so the owner's daughter made such a scandal that it even became scary. It seems to me that a boarding house specializing in families with children should be prepared for such difficulties. On some site I read a review that someone got better on their food, well, I don’t know. We lived without food, took breakfast a couple of times, buying sausages and cheesecakes. Cheesecakes are nothing, but a VERY small portion, and sausages are two thin smoked sausages, like hunting ones. We didn't eat at the boarding house. But sometimes they read the menu. Loved the two single boiled eggs for breakfast and the buttered loaf tea. I don't know how to improve on this. Now about the pools. For some, this is a big plus. I even read that many do not go to the sea, but sit by the pool. For me, it’s a little unclear why to go to the sea, it’s cheaper to buy a subscription to the pool at home. But this is a personal matter for everyone. For me, the pools in this boarding house were not a plus, because they are VERY chlorinated. You walk by and bleach is in the air. My son splashed in the pools a couple of times, then I had to wash him and wash the towels, because the smell of bleach was absorbed into them. Swimming trunks, of course, stretched out and okay, but from the towels with which she wiped the child, there was a specific amber. In general, I have not yet encountered such a barbaric method of disinfection. . My opinion is that the staff of the boarding house, for which we paid money, did NOTHING that could make the conditions comfortable. On requests to improve something, elementarily, to give a blanket, because it was cold when we arrived, no one responded. We supposedly have a summer boarding house, blankets are not provided, turn on the air conditioner. My child is allergic, when the air conditioner is turned on for heat, his mucous membrane dries up and a cough begins, so we always turn on the air conditioner only for cooling, and then at a time when we are not in the room. Maybe these are our problems, but there were always blankets in the rooms, wherever we rested. I had to buy warm pajamas and sleep in them. I do not argue, if you do not bother, the rest will go well everywhere. And my son and I believe that our vacation was successful, because we stopped paying attention to minor domestic troubles on the third day of our vacation. We ate elsewhere (fortunately, there are enough canteens and cafes in the city), we swam exclusively in the sea, we didn’t react to dissatisfied faces, we came to the boarding house late in the evening to go to bed right away. But they went on excursions, went to the dolphinarium and the theater, walked around the city, rode a boat, in short, rested. And we will be happy to return to Evpatoria once again, but only to another boarding house.
