About our ''superior'' room. Everything is old and dead. The motel itself is built from cardboard and sticks. Everything is flimsy, the walls are shaking. It is better not to go into the bathroom and not touch anything, it smells like sewage, mold on the walls, the toilet is constantly flowing. You get up off the toilet and bang your head on the boiler. The same stinking smell of sewerage catches up with the air conditioner. The walls are dirty, everything is already very! tired. From the balconies, of course, there is a beautiful view, but I don’t really want to go out on them, the balconies are located close to each other, everything is visible. Such a student option for parties. Young people are walking on neighboring balconies, music, screams, the walls are shaking. Since documents are sometimes asked, sometimes they are not asked, be prepared for any contingent around. Better hostel or apartment. For this amount in the Crimea you can rent excellent rooms.
- If you are ready to be accommodated in a two-room suite, 15 meters in size (with the promised 25. And there is no balcony of 10 squares. Otsil 6), in which it is impossible to breathe (these strange people in order to "save electricity" heat the water through the external block of the conder);
- If you are ready to live in a room with a 9 degree slope in the floor, with wires sticking out of the walls and non-working appliances;
- If you are ready for the fact that the refrigerator will need to be lifted to open;
- If you are ready for the fact that the open window will be impossible to close alone (you definitely need someone else holding the window on the other side);
- If you are ready for the handles of the furniture to fall off, the sofa will be squeezed (the lower to the balcony, the more the sofa is squeezed), and the bed, when a 100-kilogram man kneels on it, will break in half;
- If you are ready to sleep on damp linen;
- If you are ready for the tile in the bathroom to be chipped, the seams between it are covered with mold and stone, there will be a steady smell of sewage inside, the toilet will flow, the shower water will spray from the faucet in all directions, but will not flow into the watering can itself , and pubic hair will be found on the shelf for toothbrushes;
- If you are ready for the fact that the WiFi promised to you when booking will not work (and what else do people who tear out the antenna at the point with meat want);
- If you are ready for the administrator to leave at night and not be found until the morning, and the day administrator will answer all your complaints: "I don't like much here either, but I'm working! ";
- If you are ready for the fact that your comment on the site will be cowardly deleted, and no one will apologize to you
then you should definitely stay at the Listrigon motel in the glorious city of Balaklava.
Have a good rest!
PySy. Oh yes. Don't trust the pictures. They do not convey all the charm of this wonderful place.
As for the hotel itself. The positive reviews about her are clearly outdated. The husband described the hotel as a "bedbug", the shower smelled strongly of sewerage, the phone did not work. The room, upon closer examination, turned out to be dirty, unwashed, especially the toilet. The floor and furniture on the "terrace" are covered with dust and bird droppings. In a word - smelly rooms, with an uncomfortable mattress, unpleasant bedding. This absolutely did not correspond to the money that we paid for the room - 445 gr. + 65 gr. for the child. The territory is not guarded, because. We did not notice a single guard either at the entrance or at the exit. When it gets dark, it's really scary to be there, because around the motel there is an abandoned area with dilapidated houses and a huge number of stray dogs. Therefore, the next morning we urgently fled from there to Sevastopol.
Yes, the view from the veranda of the cafe is really amazing. And the staff would like to wish greater efficiency, not only in the evening influx of guests, but also in the daytime. Politeness, responsiveness - on top. By the way, for some reason in the cafe at the motel there is no such service as selling food (at least some dishes) to take away. I think many guests would like this option.
Those who do not travel by car should take into account that the motel will have to climb the stairs uphill for about ten minutes. This is a wonderful exercise, and everything would be great if in the evenings this staircase, rather middle-aged (the steps are falling apart in places), was lit up. In total darkness, it’s not only scary to stumble: there are several completely empty, apparently ready for demolition, houses nearby (there are many of them in Balaklava). It is clear that this claim - not to the hotel. But I would like to warn vacationers: stock up on flashlights and a bodyguard - you will like everything else, and what you don’t like can be settled.
Now about the main thing. If you want something special, if you don't like to push on the beaches and swim among the remnants of someone's life, go to Balaklava. The sea - with dolphins, yachts and good fishing. The beaches are not disfigured by concrete, they are quite clean and very beautiful, maybe because they are not so easy to get to - you have to go (or drive) along a mountain road or sail on a boat for 5-10 grams, which can be arranged right on the embankment. Believe me, they are worth it (Silver, Gold, Fig, Vasili's favorite, and we easily got to the famous Fiolent).
Balaklava Bay is very picturesque, full of boats and yachts, yacht clubs there are excellent, there are offers for walking and for diving enthusiasts. I never thought what a pleasure it could be - to sit in the evening in an open cafe on the embankment 30 meters from the sea and watch the sunset, yachts and life around them. The ruins of the ancient fortress of Cembalo are quite easy to conquer, but there are enough more difficult slopes in the area.
Fruit at normal prices, there are shops on the waterfront, away from the market.
Wine was bought in the shops "Zolotaya Balka", and in Sevastopol at the market on the 5th km. Good, powder did not come across.
About food. There is a Soviet canteen at the fork. For prices - like a student, for quality - almost homemade, I still remember okroshka. There are many cafes along the embankment, decent restaurants of various categories, in the evening we preferred the "Fisherman's Hut", there are good dishes at ridiculous prices, for example, yushka with croutons.
The location of Balaklava is convenient. From the area near the waterfront can be for 5gr. by minibus in 20 minutes to get to Sevastopol or Yalta (it's more expensive and longer), which we did repeatedly. Sevastopol is a special song, a large and beautiful southern city, you can explore indefinitely. In Sevastopol, at the 5th km stop, where minibuses from Balaklava come, there is an excellent clothing and food market, I highly recommend it.
Feelings remained - lightness, goodwill, mild humor of Sevastopol residents. Now I'm thinking about new routes, but only to the Crimea. It's more soulful.
Cheap option to spend the night for 1-2 nights and that's it....
Responsive administrators.
