Hotel ratings by criteria:
The general impression is good.
1. Location:
"Cons" - far from the sea. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk, although this inconvenience is partially compensated by the shuttle buses of the boarding house, which will take you to the beach in the morning and at lunchtime, and take you back at lunchtime and in the evening.
"Pros" - a lot of greenery. Far from the hustle and bustle of the people. Quite a quiet place (although this does not mean at all that you will not be woken up at night by some rocker, or by the screaming alarm of one of the cars of the boarding house clients who spend the night under the windows)
2. Staff:
"Cons" - none.
The staff is neat, friendly, polite, in rudeness was not noticed.
3. Nutrition: The child liked it, we didn’t really.

Cons: Small portions. Fresh salads. Chefs should be taught that cheesecakes and lazy dumplings, in addition to flour, should also contain cottage cheese, and eggs in scrambled eggs. Pancakes and hash browns are just awful. Sausages are completely meatless. And it would be nice to review the menu of the day "Moldovan cuisine" - the hungriest day on vacation. Those who eat on the second shift can get hot dishes semi-cold.
"Pros" - In the dining room order. Dishes are clean. You order the menu for the next day, each dish in three versions. The food is mostly delicious. There were no food poisonings.
4. Rooms: Lived in a standard room.
"Cons" - It would be nice to do a general cleaning of the room between shift arrivals. In the bathroom (which would be nice to renovate) a wet, holey rag replaces the rug. And if you don’t throw it out on the balcony in the evening, by morning it starts to smell bad. The curtain in the bathroom was covered with moss at the bottom - disgusting to touch!
Pros - The room is spacious. The decoration is old fashioned but the furniture is in good condition. The fan (which really had to be dismantled in order to clean the grate and impeller from a layer of dust) is present and is included in the price of the room. The room was sunny, but the sun does not enter the room due to the large awnings on the balcony. Therefore, the number does not bake.
There are no cockroaches! Linen is changed frequently.
Conclusion: A good option for a relaxing holiday, for a tourist who is not spoiled by overseas holidays. It’s easy to find entertainment closer to the embankment, and the kids will surely be pleased with the squirrels frolicking here and there, which sometimes even take nuts from their hands.

We liked Alushta herself. It's just a pity that the utilities don't lick her well. IMHO this is the scourge of all Crimean cities. Therefore, I’m ready to argue to the point of hoarseness with my grandmother, a local resident, from whom I heard the phrase that she dropped while passing by a cluttered bench, that they say “it’s not in vain that they say“ Rusish Schwein ”! And it’s not the Russians or other Slavs who are to blame here, of whom there are also in abundance, but first of all the city administration and public utilities! Not every vacationer will have the patience to wind kilometers with an ice cream wrapper in search of an urn. In Russian cities, trash cans are more common, and they are removed on time. Therefore the situation is different.
Maybe I wouldn’t have given the Zhemchuzhina such a high rating, but our further path lay in the Miskhor sanatorium, where a superior room was already waiting for us. “Well, finally, we will plunge into complete comfort! ” - we were looking forward to the upcoming vacation.... But that's another story.
