In the preface I will say that I am not a bore, and not always dissatisfied with everything)))))
So, the hotel itself (namely the second building, which has its own small courtyard with a gazebo and barbecue facilities). Pros. There is practically nothing to complain about. Very friendly and friendly hosts, they will smile at you in a European way when they meet, sending a boost of energy for the day) Cleaning is guaranteed every day (although sometimes it left much to be desired), every 3 days change of bed linen and towels. Air conditioning, hair dryer, cable TV, wi-fi - everything worked properly. Pleased with such trifles as a set of dishes in the room. For a fee, your belongings can also be washed.
Not far from the hotel there is a central market and a supermarket.

Minuses. The hotel is quite far from the beach. The closest, located to the central, but if you have not taken a place in the sun after 8 in the morning, then there is nothing to look for later. True, there are paid sunbeds on the beach. 40 gr. We needed 3 pieces, as a result, you pay a decent amount only for a plastic piece (it would be cheaper for us to buy an entot sunbed ourselves and carry it to the beach with it). If you decide to go to Alushta with children, think 5 times, because this year the storm washed away the beach and they covered it with sharp, terrible gravel (although....if anyone practices the yogic method of acupuncture - such beaches are the very thing !! ! + stock up for all family members with rubber slippers, without which it is impossible to move along the beach). About the number of people per square cm - I will not say anything. The proverb "walk over the heads" - I felt in all its glory, and in the literal sense.
The hotel also does not have a cafe. Nearby is the "Home-style Dining Room", the cuisine of which causes positive impressions for the first 5 days. Then you understand that you simply can’t shove fatty Ukrainian cuisine into yourself (although... someone will see this as a plus)
Sea. Clean and warm. But we grabbed the rotovirus with him (who knows what it is and what it is like to get sick with a child on vacation, I’m sure we shuddered at that moment). This is understandable. It's hot, people are crowded.
About the city of Scoop lived, is alive and will live. Soviet service in restaurants, cafes....in the thoughts of Alushta residents, who look at you like a cash cow with one thought - how to rip you off more and provide less quality of services.
Bottom line: if you are an unpretentious individual who has never seen a good European vacation, then I think Alushta and Mechta are a good component of a good summer pastime ; -))))
