I recommend to think carefully before going there to rest for your money.
I was with my wife at the beginning of September 2007, a junior suite in the second building of "enhanced" comfort (approximately 125 dollars per day, 630 UAH per room).
Boarding house Demerdzhi was found on the Internet, they have never been to Alushta, they used to rest in the Crimea between Yalta and Foros.
The general impressions from the rest in Crimea are negative: there are a lot of people, it is dirty, there is no service, everything is expensive. And the main reason is that the vast majority of the local population looks at tourists only as "living wallets" that need to be emptied. Still, they need to get money for the whole year in three months of the season.
I was struck by the ability of Crimean photographers to take promotional shots to lure tourists: you look at a photo - it’s beautiful, clean, there are few people; you see it in life and it becomes funny.
Pros:

1. Territory: Clean and well-groomed paths / lawns, a fountain with fish, you understand all sorts of plants there, but the territory is VERY small.
2. Climate: Relative calm in Alushta, in the presence of a very strong wind from Yalta to Foros. Since the boarding house borders on the city (unfortunately not well-groomed) park, you breathe pleasant air.
3. Our room was good (corresponded to the photos on the site), the view was on the territory of the boarding house. The balcony is awesome. But the sea is not visible, and half of the ordinary rooms even in this building overlook the road, which goes around the building two meters from the wall of the building.
4. The pool is beautiful.
Minuses:
1. "Own small-pebble beach": It is impossible to get to the beach from the territory of the boarding house (such as the second line). It is a 7-minute walk through the city park (to the right of the lifeguard station and the city sewerage building (this is not a joke). It is a small part of a small city beach fenced with wire, reinforcement / bars. There are two toilets, two changing cabins, mini - cafe / beer stand, free leaky shady canopy, shower. For all THIS, in their advertisements, this beach is positioned as "probably the best beach in Alushta. " The problem of the beach is that it is very small for this number of vacationers (although it was September). People are actually lying on top of each other, you have to squeeze through to the sea. But as usual, in Crimea there is always a way out, pay extra 15 hryvnias ($ 3) per person per day, and you will get the opportunity to borrow one of the ten sunbeds under the awning.
2. The dining room (this is not a restaurant, but a canteen) is divided by a partition into 2 parts: for vacationers in junior suites / suites and everyone else. The food is the same for everyone, average quality for me, and the wife refused to dine there on the 3rd day. We ate near the pool at the bar with a kitchen. Cheap and we love it. At the dispenser in the canteen queue.

3. Swimming pool - PAID. I forgot the lope for sure - but somewhere in the region of 2-3 dollars. from a person. And the Crimean weather in September is changeable. And here is the real situation: they came, paid money, an hour later it was raining and cold. Like?
Think for yourself, decide for yourself.
