A small hike in Polissya
I decided to send my son to the "Deneshi" sanatorium, which is located half an hour from Zhytomyr in the picturesque area of the state reserve, on a mountain, directly above the Teterev River. The sanatorium made a pretty good impression (oh, the "commies" knew how to choose beautiful places to relax). Now, however, unlike the "damned" Soviet past, all this costs quite a lot of money (those who wish can find out on the sanatorium's website). So, having “handed over” the child to the hands of pretty and good-natured teachers, I decided to make a short excursion along the banks of the Black Grouse. Nearby are stunning cliffs, 30 meters high, in my opinion. Climbers of all ages from all over Ukraine like to train here. Trails for lifting different levels of difficulty. People themselves equipped their own places for parking and recreation. Many are in cars and there are pedestrians. Near the river. You can’t see fresh water, they go to the sanatorium (there are still cafes there, the prices are quite affordable) There is, however, one thing, but the sanatorium dumps all its waste into the river. The smell, respectively, is "magical" - right next to the bivouacs of mountaineers. Apparently, this does not bother them (fun is in full swing). Having examined the rocks, I decided to walk to the Trigorsky Monastery, which is located opposite the sanatorium, across the river, in the village of Trigorye. The monastery has been around for several centuries and is famous for its miraculous icon. The view from the monastery to the river is amazing. It was on Saturday, so the strings of wedding corteges were a little tense (it became fashionable to hold photo shoots near the monastery). Remembering that in Denesh there are the ruins of the Tereshchenko Palace (a famous sugar factory in the Volyn province), I decided to go there and see what was preserved there. From Trigorye to Denesh, about 3 kilometers, the road is not annoying - you go through an oak forest, where giant oaks, about 500 years old, are still preserved. After 20-25 minutes on foot I got to the castle. Yes, the ruins are impressive. Probably when everything here was safe, there was beauty. It is a pity that neither under the Union, nor under Ukraine, no one thought to restore this castle. Lord oligarchs, can you think? It would be possible to carry the same weddings, and excursion routes. Well, yes, I dreamed. In principle, the campaign turned out to be successful. . For money, in general, a penny (travel 11 UAH from Zhytomyr to the sanatorium and 9 UAH from the village of Denesh to Zhytomyr). Well, eat and drink there. It will take all half a day, the car is faster of course, but it was not hard for me even on foot.
