Our stay at the Anna-Maria hotel lasted a little more than two weeks. There were two adults and a two year old child.
And now I will describe everything in detail point by point.
Road to the hotel:
They were driving in a car. Before Odessa, there were no special problems with the road. The road from Odessa (80 km) took us a little more than two hours, as the roads leave much to be desired. The last 20 km to Kurortny had to be driven at a speed of 20-50 km/h. The road is just terrible, we constantly had to go around potholes on the road, we drove like a snake. At night, it is better not to drive along this road - take care of your car!
If you go by taxi from Odessa, you will be charged 450 - 600 UAH.

If by taxi, then 30 UAH. per person (the minibus runs approximately 5 times a day, every 2-3 hours, starting at 6:30). But minibus drivers do not always adhere to the schedule, especially at the end of the season. This minibus (Odessa-Kurortnoye) collects passengers at the railway station in Odessa. The route is also suitable: Odessa - Lebedevka and Odessa - Yellow Yar, but you need to ask if they will pass Kurortnoye.
Pick up at the hotel:
The gate was opened by a security guard, having learned that we had booked a room, he showed us where to go. The hostess clarified the length of stay, asked to pay the full cost of our room for the entire period of stay. She also asked for a deposit of 400 UAH. which she promised to return upon departure. If you break a glass or a kettle, i. e. damage something in the room, the deposit is not refundable.
The next step was to put on bracelets on your hand so that the guard at the entrance to the hotel would recognize you, and also so that all the residents of Kurortny could see where you settled.
Then we were taken to the room and told about where they have everything in the hotel.
About the number:

It is a pity that the hosts on the phone did not offer me to book a room with a private balcony! And on the hotel website there is no detailed description of the rooms, they are different here, check it out! There are rooms of 12 m2.20 m2.30 m2, etc.

Settled in a double room, where there was a shared balcony for four rooms. The entrance to the room was by opening the balcony door, ie. entrance through the balcony. It was very annoying when people walked past our room, and especially the cleaning lady, who, starting from 7 in the morning, went back and forth, periodically her bucket or mop fell. Within an hour I could pass the window 10 times and so on until 18-00. When the child slept at lunchtime, the door had to be closed so that the noise would not wake the child. If you do not turn on the air conditioner and close the door - the room was stuffy. Also, if you leave the balcony door open, the child runs out to the common balcony and can run into the next room, which is not comfortable for vacationers from the next room. I also want to talk about the balcony. It has a dryer for your clothes, a table and two chairs. Dangerous balcony railing for a small child! If you do not keep track of him, then he can slip through the hole at the bottom of the balcony and fall down, the distance allows this. Therefore, our balcony was almost always closed.
Double room approximately 20 m2. It has beautiful wooden furniture, a large double bed 180x200 cm, where I, my husband and a two-year-old child calmly fit. But if your child is used to sleeping in a crib, then for $ 5 per day they will bring him a normal children's bed.
There was also a comfortable sofa, bedside tables with lamps, a small table, air conditioning, a 32' TV, a kettle, 2 cups, 2 glasses, 2 teaspoons, a decanter, a tray, a hair dryer, a refrigerator, a wardrobe and a mirror.
Every day brought to the room 2 bags of tea, coffee, sugar.
They provided 2 large towels and 3 small ones.
Changed towels on the 3rd day, and bed linen - on the 5th day.
If you hang a sign asking you to clean the room, only then will you be cleaned.
Double rooms in the hotel with a shared balcony for 4 rooms - 32.
I advise you to book a room only with a private balcony, there are 48 rooms, but with different sizes!
Maybe someone is wondering that you can’t see the sea from any hotel room! One side - the windows of the rooms overlook the pool, the second side - the rural houses, the third side - with a view of the car parking near the hotel, the fourth - with a view of the playground. Those who arrived without children were strained by the view of the playground or pool, because it was very noisy there from children's screams and riding cars and bicycles, as well as loud music by the pool.
hotel infrastructure.
The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with a children's area. The depth in the pool in the adult area is approximately 1.55m, the same throughout the area. In the children's area - approximately 0.7 m.
The pool is large, there is enough space for everyone, along its perimeter there are sunbeds with mattresses, umbrellas and tables.
There is a bar next to the pool, music plays (sometimes very loudly), there are 3 gazebos.

There is a small fountain which is turned on in the evenings. Around it are round tables with chairs. Only in this zone the Internet works, a little slow, but the main thing is that it is there!
Wi-Fi is also available in the pool view rooms (not in the room, but on the balcony).
The entire hotel is under video surveillance around the perimeter.
After the beach, feet in the sand can be washed off with water upon entering the hotel.
Rose bushes and other plants grow on the territory of the hotel. There are benches where you can sit in the evenings.
There is a playground for children under 5 years old. The trampoline had already broken by our arrival, maybe they will restore it by the next season.
There are bicycles for children to ride around the hotel, there is a car for the little ones, but it won't survive next season. Toys are all broken, it is better to take your own.
During our vacation, the hotel once organized a trip to Odessa, in a minibus for 14 seats. We were picked up from the hotel at 8:30, and back from Odessa at 18:00, on the way 2 hours one way.
Nutrition

In the hotel you can eat from the restaurant menu or order breakfast (40 UAH), lunch (80 UAH) and dinner (60 UAH) per day.
The food does not pretend to be any frills, but it is quite normal and edible.
For children on the menu, the choice is not rich. I asked for an individual mashed soup for my child, they refused me, as they make everything only a menu. I asked that they don't have a blender? Received in response memorized phrase. I rested in the Crimea at a hotel of this level, there were no problems with individual cooking. I didn't ask for free food.
If you order from a restaurant menu, it's a bit pricey. Someone wrote that he preferred the Provence bar, we went there, the prices are slightly lower than in Anna Maria, but there was no desire to eat there.
And in general, with food in the Kurortny tension! Especially for small children, there is almost nothing in stores, take everything with you.
In the store you can buy only bakery products, water, fruits (not always of good quality), kefir, yogurts. The rest of the products are scary to buy.

To buy normal products, we drove by car to Belgorod - Dnestrovsky, to the Tavria V supermarket, which is 35 km from Kurortny.
In general, there is no infrastructure in Kurortny!
After August 27, almost all the shops here begin to close, people leave here, it becomes cold. And then it turns out that it is cold to swim in the sea, the pool is not heated - it is also cold in it, a strong wind blows and there is almost no one around, BORING!
Sea beach
During our stay there, the sea was both clean and dirty. The wind is constantly blowing, sometimes less, sometimes more.
The beach is 150 - 200 m from the hotel, but then you need to go down a long staircase.
For many, this is a difficult ascent and descent, because there are not even handrails on the stairs where one could lean on. There were only handrails on the stairs with the steepest descent.
The beach is not very crowded, mobile communication does not work well on it.
About Resort
God forsaken place, I don't know how people live there in winter? Shops are open only during the season. The season ends August 27th. This is not Crimea for you, with its velvet season in September.
For products that are on the market, that in stores, the prices are overpriced and there is not that range of products that is familiar to me personally.
During our vacation, the circus came 2 times, one name is that it is a circus.
There are no ATMs here, the nearest ATM is in Sergeevka.
Arriving in Kurortnoye and seeing all this, many vacationers turned around and left. Even the fact that the hotel returns only 50% did not frighten them.
Outcome
For Resort Anna-Maria is a super-duper hotel in which everything seems to be fine. But it is better not to go from Russia to this hotel, a very long and tiring road, you can find something better in Ukraine, for example, the southern coast of Crimea, where at least nature is better. During my vacation, there were many Russians who were not happy with their choice, primarily because of the roads and infrastructure in Kurortny.

Of course, the hotel is not to blame for this, that it is located in such a wilderness, but still you want to relax with comfort in all respects.
