We visited this base in 2014. We took an economy room (2 adults and 1 child 1.5 years old). Liked. For that price - 200 UAH a room - everything suited us. They cleaned the room themselves. Since the child is small, I immediately washed all the furniture, the floor, the bathroom with detergent. The sea is close, the beach is wide, the dining room is nearby, the first-aid post, children's animations, the market is close.

This year we decided to take a 3-seater (the child is already 7) with amenities (1260 UAH per room). What can I say - I was horrified! If they had not paid the entire amount at once (and this is not a little - 18 thousand UAH), I would have looked for something else.
It turns out that the "improved" room means the repair of the bathroom AND ALL!! ! The furniture is old, dirty, smelly, it is disgusting to touch it, the doors do not close, there is sand, dust, dirt on the floor. Yes, I had to wash and clean everything, just like in 2014, but then it was an ECONOMY ROOM!! ! We made friends with the neighbors, went to look at their economy room. So it turned out to be much more decent than ours - a neat sofa WITH A BLANK (! ), a clean rag at the entrance, wallpaper in the room (we didn’t have any). I felt ashamed in front of my relatives and acquaintances, to whom I once advised this base. I can’t understand - everything on the territory is beautiful and neat, bins are everywhere, they clean, water, why is there such horror in the houses? It seems that different organizations are cleaning up.
Now about the pleasant. The dining room pleased, the dishes are delicious, fresh, the prices are moderate. The staff is polite. Upon checking in, they discovered that the shower was leaking - the worker came within 15 minutes, settled at night - the security met, called the administrator, who took him to the room. A special "thank you" to the nurse - the child got a boil on the leg - every day she smeared him with ointment and found out how he was feeling. In a word, if you want to save money - take an economy room (the house is cool, and there is a bathroom, and the sea is nearby, and the price is more or less), but if your budget allows, then for 1200-1300 UAH. full of other options. My family and I decided not to come here again.

(probably problems with sewerage) The furniture is old, broken, the beds are creaky, with old dirty mattresses. Bedside tables either do not close, or the shelves fall, the same thing with refrigerators. Our neighbors did not close it at all, and there was a lot of snow in the freezer, there were no shelves in it. Ours was just very dirty. It looks like it hasn't been washed in five years. The so-called maid gave us a rag for the floor and dust, there was a broom and dustpan in the room, also very dirty. They did the cleaning themselves. The first purchases were Domestos, air freshener, vice wash, soap and all other household items. Later I also had to buy a raptor from crawling insects, because. ants, beetles, and, as I wrote earlier, spiders lived in the house. The bedspreads are on the beds, and in general everything in the house smells of mold or mustiness. There is no closet in the room. There are three very small (probably children's coat hangers). Cleaning yourself is not a problem, but the wallpaper in the room falls off the walls, the wood paneling is sticky (I don’t know from dirt or time), in the bathroom the drain hole on the floor is constantly clogged, so you need to get to the toilet “by swimming”.

I read a lot of objections, they say, for such money it’s not worth wanting more, but even for minimal money you want at least minimal quality. Here, I would say, there is no quality at all. This also applies to the unkempt territory, and the attitude of the attendants and everything else.

There is a restaurant on site where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The choice of food is sufficient. The staff is friendly. However, again the same problem. If you take a tray, then its smell will remain on your hands for a long time, eating with cutlery without first washing them with your own hands is somehow unpleasant. Glass cups are not transparent, because. no one washes them properly. Dirt all around. Prices are not cheap.
Animator Vitaliy holds discos and competitions, however, somehow the children of the sports camp, who also live at the base, take part more.
The only plus of the hostel is its proximity to the sea, a very large beach (there is enough space for everyone) and a good approach to the sea, to the delight of children and adults.

From 09/08 to 20/08 my daughter and I rested at the base "Gulfstream", smt Zatoka, Odessa region. This was my third visit to this base. This post is not an advertisement, but a statement of the fact of the trip. The base is not stellar. But we didn't pursue it. I had several obligatory wishes: 1 - close to the sea, that is, almost on the coast.

From 09/08 to 20/08 my daughter and I rested at the base "Gulfstream", smt Zatoka, Odessa region. This was my third visit to this base. This post is not an advertisement, but a statement of the fact of the trip.
The base is not stellar. But we didn't pursue it. I had several obligatory wishes:
1 - close to the sea, that is, almost on the coast.
2 - wifi
3 - prepared food (canteen)
4 - toilet / shower in the room + hot water
and SUN! but here the heavenly office rules
The room is an absolutely simple Soviet rudiment, equipped with the following signs of civilization and the 21st century:
* fridge
* cupboard
* two sockets
* two beds
* two cabinets
*two chairs
* table
* TV (a lot of canal channels : -) 80+). Really switched 8 (Jetix, 2 musicians, Novy channel and something else screeched like humor)
Oh, and two windows with mosquito nets and doors with tulle
The bathroom is standard. There are no complaints, except for this terrible, kicked rug. Everything you need is present and in working order.
So, the canteen... No, well, what do you want from an orgomnogo hardly ventilated room, which can withstand the scorching sun and cooking in a huge kitchen for almost days? Of course, I would like a couple of air conditioners or fans on the ceiling. But, compared to last year, they have advanced. Now the food could be seen on the plates and on the shelves, and the cooks kindly told what it (the food) consisted of. You can see the prices on the price tags, but we always ordered half a serving. No, not because we are greedy (we didn’t work hard for a year, saving up for rest), it’s just that in the heat there’s not much hunting, but it’s necessary, the sea draws. But in the end, SUMMER and there is a small market nearby with a sufficient number of stalls and shops on the way to it, with fresh fruits and fish products, and with the same corn and watermelon. So it simply does not make sense to cram food in the canteen.
We really liked the pea soup with croutons and potato pancake (boooooooo big) with fried mushrooms wrapped in it. Delicious, I must admit. In the morning there is always milk: rice, semolina or pasta, pancakes with jam And cheese casserole. Always is always. At 7.30 you can catch. It is important to have a good and hearty breakfast. There has always been meat: fish, beef, pork and chicken, that is, dishes produced from the above.
Another booooooolshy base plus: 6 braziers with gazebos near them. That is, in the evening a large company can get together and buzz while it's buzzing : -)
The territory of the base deserves special praise. It is cleaned daily, trash cans are cleaned out, large ashtrays are placed around the base, large and guarded. There is a playground. To be honest, the base has never been crap. For the whole vacation I have never heard (and I have been coming here for 3 years in a row) that something has been stolen.
Every evening from 20.00 to 22.00 there is animation and the children are busy with contests, songs, dances and always calmly return home, even without their parents, unless, of course, the parents stay to dance to "Little Ducklings" and "Gandnam Style".
The beach is the pride of the Gulf Stream. BIG! A very wide sandy strip with all kinds of entertainment typical of resorts. A beautiful entry into the sea and its purity beckon to jump and swim, but sometimes the temperature brings. But even here the animation works hard and is engaged in morning exercises on the beach and / or volleyball on the beach.
In general, for myself, I found the perfect place to relax for my native hryvnia without being tied to any currency with round-the-clock access to the Internet in which case. Plus, 3G has appeared in Zatoka, so it has become even more interesting to stick to some news on the shore while your heels are warming up and your back is sunbathing.
Of course, there will always be those who want to spoil their vacation with nose-rolling, but for my money spent, I received exactly as much as I wanted to get out of it. I came for the sea, sun and relaxation, and I got it in full.
Accommodation from the nose for 10 days 2200 UAH
Travel Rivne-Zatoka-Rivne - 800 UAH
TOTAL was spent on food for two, including fruits, etc. . . 2200+-50
