We drove for a long time. there were traffic jams, phoned the hotel in the afternoon and said that we were going, they confirmed everything. Rested for a few days in Uman. We decided to stay in "GOLDEN PARK". The hotel is small and cozy, with a well-groomed area where you can park. The hotel is ideally accessible by personal transport. The hotel is located almost at the entrance to Uman from the Odessa highway (if you go from Kiev) in the private sector.

The hotel is ideally accessible by personal transport.
The hotel is located almost at the entrance to Uman from the Odessa highway (if you go from Kiev) in the private sector. There is a shop and a supermarket nearby. 10 minutes walk to the side entrance to Sofiyivka (entrance through the University of Horticulture, Institutska Street). By the way, the university itself is located in a beautiful park, the main building is an architectural monument of the XIX century.
We chose an apartment with a kitchen - this is a one-room studio apartment, with fully equipped utensils and all the necessary kitchen, a total area of about 50 square meters. m.
Room is clean, spacious, bright, with three windows. There is air conditioning. I do not know how in winter, but in summer - not hot and not stuffy. However, the floor is tile, so in the cold season you will need warm slippers.
The bathroom has a shower, the necessary accessories, bathrobes and slippers. The room has a dining table, bar, large plasma, nice comfortable bed. Cleaning daily.
There is a sofa and a smoking area on the shared terrace.
The hotel has been freshly renovated, clean and homely. On the second floor there is a shared kitchen, where you can, among other things, use a coffee machine - quite tasty coffee is paid separately - 12 UAH. You can pre-order breakfast or prepare it yourself.
Is the set of local attractions limited? : Sofiyivka Arboretum, light and music fountain, several old buildings in the center, bazaar, cafes and restaurants - but the city goes to bed early : ))) So we decided to go to the Butsky Canyon (48 km from Uman). Tip - maybe in early spring and golden autumn there is beautiful, but in summer, in the heat - clearly do nothing.
The mountain Tikich is very dry, the waterfalls are small, very dusty, there are almost no facilities and infrastructure in Buki, and the road is in some places, we can say, absent. It is gratifying that we were not the only ones "enchanted" by pictures and video canyons on the Internet - people came from different regions and neighboring countries and also wanted to find these "beauties"))) In general - nothing special and does not deserve a separate trip.
I recommend the hotel! Especially for those who value privacy and peace of mind - the staff is unobtrusive, receptionist, as such - there is no need to book a room in advance, the administrator will check in and give the keys. In the future - you can contact the staff by phone. I will not say anything about sound insulation - there were no people, there was no discomfort.

When choosing a hotel, they were guided by the location and positive reviews on their website. The "Classic" room corresponds to the photos - cozy, neat in appearance. After checking in, we realized that it was terribly cold in the room, about +15, +16, on the street it was plus 7 during the day, and minus 4 at night.

Everything that happens in the house is heard: someone moves in and out, what is happening in the next room, etc. The service staff lacks any culture. On a day off at 9 in the morning, I couldn’t sleep, shouting to the whole house: “Galya, where is your mop. ”On the windowsills and the floor in the morning from the condensate of the puddle-river. The site does not post negative reviews. For the money, no service.

It was too far to walk to the nearest cafe, we went by car. I really liked the hotel, I recommend it!

The room (we had "Rustic style") is bright, clean, comfortable, has everything you need. Perhaps the only negative is the lack of breakfast, but this issue is easily solved. Not far from the hotel there is a restaurant Sloboda, where we had a delicious dinner and breakfast the next day.
We decided for ourselves that we would be happy to stay at this hotel on our next visit to Uman.

We were in Golden Park at the end of October with my sister and three children. We took 2 rooms - Village and Hi-tech. The rooms are quite spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained. Vibrant colors, large television, Wi-Fi. The rooms (I saw all 5) correspond to the description and photos on the hotel website.
