Take towels and slippers with you, I do not recommend walking there barefoot (
Towels have not been changed, probably since the opening of the hotel. The friends' room smelled terribly of sewage, but it was warm enough, so they slept with the door to the balcony open. Shower cabin and toilet in a beautiful sunny yellow color)
Went to the local sauna...
For the first time I saw what a public bath is)
Obviously, cleaning is not welcome there, the pool is green-olive in color, there are also hoses swimming)
In no case do not go there without your shoes, because you can break your head in those purchased there. Since the water from the shower does not drain well and stands on the floor like a lake)
I was pleased with the breakfast, it is really tasty, even though it is ordinary
They tried not to think about cleanliness in the kitchen, since they had not seen it in other places)

11/22/18 I was with my husband in Uman on a business trip. We decided to stay at this hotel. The place is quiet, calm. We were greeted at the reception by friendly and helpful staff. The girls put us in a nice room. We booked a standard for 450 UAH. The room is clean, hot water, comfortable bed, TV, internet - everything is fine! We went to eat in a restaurant. … More ▾ 11/22/18 I was with my husband in Uman on a business trip. We decided to stay at this hotel. The place is quiet, calm. In general, we returned home with the best impressions from a business trip. Well done guys, keep it up!! !

Curtains hung without plugs, open carefully so as not to fall to the floor. They gave out three towels per person, shampoo and soap. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The restaurant is under renovation, we ate at the bar. The bar is cozy. We were satisfied with the local cuisine, the dishes were prepared, we had to wait half an hour, but everything was fresh. But late for breakfast (due to the fault of the guide) refused to warm up at the bar.

For many years I stayed in the hotel "Fortetsya". I'm not a picky person and I was completely satisfied with everything until now. Since the company always pays for the hotel, the rooms were not the cheapest. For example, in a room for 757 UAH. on my last visit there was no hot water, the faucet in the washbasin dangled that it was about to fall off, there was no Wi-Fi (although every time I stayed in this hotel in other rooms there were no problems with this), it would be scary to enter the shower cabin , even if there was water - it was not removed, there was hair. But the top of my patience broke off when for some reason it seemed to me that the bed linen was stale. Looking more closely, I noticed that it was still crumpled, the pillowcases on the pillow were also not fresh and stained, and most importantly, there was female hair everywhere on the sheets and pillowcases!! ! This is beyond cynicism for 757 UAH. provide such services. Regarding the lack of hot water when checking in in the evening, I thought that there are many visitors and their heating system does not have time to heat the water. But in the morning the water was as cold as in the evening. That is, it did not work out to put oneself in order. In response to this claim in the morning, I was informed that they had an accident. Why couldn't we have warned about this at the time of arrival? ? I would stay in another hotel. In general, I left them a coupon for breakfast as a keepsake, because after such a service, I was simply afraid to eat here. And on my penultimate visit a week earlier, I found sweat-smelling towels in the room. That is, they were simply left after the previous visitor. I did not pay such close attention to bed linen, because I was tired and had no time for it. At that moment, I was already thinking about whether to change the hotel on my next visits. And this last visit finally convinced me - I do not intend to stay in this hotel again. I will inform the management of my company about this incident and recommend that they no longer accommodate their employees in this hotel. Let the hotel management think about their service. Apparently, a client for them is like dust on the road.

We were given a room for 250-260 UAH. . . the temperature was +10. dubar!! . . asked for another. . . waited an hour. I felt squeamish in the room, the shower was dirty, I didn’t have any slippers, when I tried to buy them, it turned out that they weren’t there at all. . . although what is the problem to buy slippers? ? the room was uncomfortable, the style of the hotel is of course an amateur. . . but there was no freshness from linen, towels and curtains. The only joy was delicious food. At the reception asked to buy a Wi-Fi card. . no they say. . . in general, this hotel is characterized by style.... paid, slept, left. . . They don't fight for customers, they just don't need it. The girls at the reception were gossiping about the hotel's customers...... This despite the fact that there were guests nearby. They have to ask for everything. . they don't offer anything. . . in this hotel about everything - guess for yourself. Although when I was there in a still unbuilt hotel in 2006, they were great. . . they just let everything flow, but you want to come and relax. Next time I will consider another hotel.

Breakfast in the restaurant - unheated yesterday's buckwheat porridge and chops.
I do not recommend using the hotel if you want to relax, sleep.

If this review is read by the owner of the Fortress, I advise you to remind your friends that customers should be treated with respect and a peaceful sleep of the guest - the key to prosperity of the hotel.

There is no free wifi in the rooms. Nowhere to plug a laptop. The sanitary area stinks and the sink is clogged. Swamp in the parking lot. The music in the restaurant can make you deaf. Or I just got unlucky with number 226. … More ▾ There is no free wifi in the rooms. Nowhere to plug a laptop. The sanitary area stinks and the sink is clogged. Swamp in the parking lot. The hotel itself is good, there is parking (for money), the rooms are cozy, clean, there is a mini-bar. Shower, towels, air freshener. Well, it’s better to take your own shampoo... There is one decent institution "SOK" - Japanese and Chinese cuisine . . very tasty.

Impressions about the hotel are extremely negative - the rooms are dirty, the ceiling is covered with spiders, the rooms are smoky. The window did not close tightly - the screams of the local flora and fauna - alcoholics and dogs with cats - were heard all night. The shower fixture was broken, the sockets were gouged - every time you turned on the charger of your phone or camera, it was accompanied by sparkling illumination (in the first room where we were settled, there was a dismantled toilet in general. … More ▾ Impressions about the hotel are extremely negative - the rooms are dirty, the ceiling is covered with spiders, the rooms are smoky. The only plus is round-the-clock supply of warm water.

Had to bring 1 night in this hotel as there were no other options. We took a junior suite (600 UAH), we didn't even look at the standards. To be honest, the hotel is crappy, and not because I'm picky. Disadvantages: - dirty rooms (worn carpet, which becomes better in shoes), a stale sofa, an uncomfortable bathroom, dark colors in the design of the room, cheap interior elements that you can do without, colored linen (for some reason, Ukrainian hotels believe that this is cool, although it is unacceptable to use other linen than white), dark towels. … More ▾ Had to bring 1 night in this hotel as there were no other options. Disadvantages:
- dirty rooms (worn carpet, which becomes better in shoes), a stale sofa, an uncomfortable bathroom, dark colors in the design of the room, cheap interior elements that you can do without, colored linen (for some reason, Ukrainian hotels believe that this is cool, although it is unacceptable to use other linen than white), dark towels. There is no feeling of comfort and cleanliness when you enter the room.
-incomprehensible layout of the room: the shower cabin, which not only did not work as it should, was located separately from the bathroom in a large room with windows, despite the fact that the curtains were not long enough to completely close all the windows)))) so from the windows opposite you can admire a person who is washing in the shower)))) The same can be done from the living room of the room itself, since this magical "shower room" led a la a balcony door with glass that shone through when the light was on))) Probably, this is an idea local creative designers)
The restaurant is pretty good. The service is good, the order did not have to wait long. The layout of the hall with huge leather sofas is incomprehensible, since this is a restaurant and it is simply uncomfortable to sit and eat. Except to sip wine from a glass all evening.
Didn't like the breakfast, very poor.
The staff is friendly, I liked the girls at the reception. The maids are too curious and tactless.
Conclusion: the hotel would not recommend, but given the lack of other accommodations, the choice is not great. So stop, but look both ways )))
Have a nice trip everyone : -)
