You know, I am not a fan of writing reviews, giving advice, but today I decided to write so that tourists like our family would not step on the same rake. In general, let's start with the road. We are from Kremenchug, Poltava region. Our roads are not well, we can say tolerably. Better than previous years for sure. But, that's a different story. Closer to Kiev and the road has become better. Kyiv itself and its traffic jams, human rudeness on the road and deputies with an escort... Honestly, the people of Kiev, I really sympathize with you. You need to have nerves of iron for a couple of kilometers. a whole hour to go. The Kyiv-Chop highway pleased me with an even surface and, not surprisingly, very “cheap” police officers. You know, honestly, we are so used to rudeness on the roads from the police that when we were stopped, my husband crept up all over, preparing to fight back, but... when people are very correct, not rude, polite, honestly even get a fine not embarrassing. When they introduced themselves to you in a polite manner and according to the rules, not impudent, not rude, and not a lot of things....In a word, thanks to the boys, I was impressed. And my husband and I came to the conclusion that politeness is our everything.
So let's get back to the road. Since there are about 1000 km from Flint to Skhidnitsa. We decided to split the trip into 2 days. We stopped for the night at the entrance to Rovno. Hotel 4×.4. First impression of the hotel. The hotel itself and the exterior left a good impression at first glance. We took a room with 2 beds, the beds are comfortable, everything is clean, cozy. Since we were with a child, cleanliness for me is in 1st place. Although the hotel is roadside, but cleanliness, towels, shampoos, slippers and even shoe polish were all present. To be honest, the room made me very happy. But....by 12 o'clock we had neighbors who "buzzed" until 2 o'clock. And somewhere around 4 snoring woke me up....from the next room !!! ! It’s cool, really, after 9 hours of the road, I’m tired and it seems that the bed is clean, comfortable and I want to sleep... but as they say, not all cats have Shrovetide. Why am I, but to the fact that soundproofing is not to hell !!! ! I didn't get much rest! Even though the husband and child passed out, they didn't care. What else mega did not like is the food !!! ! Cafe "Piston" - you are hacking. . . yes, everything is ok with cleanliness. . . but the food!! ! When we arrived and settled in, we decided to have dinner. Honestly, after a day on the road, I really wanted something hot, a first course. The choice on the menu is thin, between bosch, chicken broth and pumpkin puree soup. . . ordered chicken broth. . . Uv. cooks, if you need to add color to the broth, use carrots, not seasoning with dye. For 65 UAH they brought us a broth in which half a quail egg floated, and a piece of meat the size of a fingernail. It tastes like water with mivina!!! ! Guys, are you kidding me, after a day of travel, I have to eat this G? ! After a remark about the seasoning, they tried to prove to me that they had not invested the seasoning. And they advised salmon in some kind of sauce... you know, looking around, I noticed that almost all the visitors ate, or this so-called broth or borscht. That is, people after the road in the first place order first courses!! ! So, dear managers of the hotel and cafe "Piston", pay attention to the comments. Although, maybe I'm such a harmful one. )) So people are kind, do not judge strictly.
When we returned home, we dined at the Bistro Bakery Konovka. Not bad at all, clean, the pizza is delicious. But the prices seem too high to me. Dried fruit compote, for example, 55 UAH a glass. ))) The waiters immediately rejoice at you as a “dear mother”, and then you buy bread for 65 grams, then order at least something else))). But these are nuances.
And now about Skhidnitsa. In a word - BEAUTIFUL!!!! ! Autumn, the brightness of colors, centuries-old pines that rest against the clouds. Honestly nature, air, sun made our day. . . now about the essential. I found a new Kyiv Hotel on the Internet. I contacted the manager (hostess) who painted us a new hotel, sent a photo. She promised us purity and beauty. For me, the selection criterion was also the presence of a kitchen. Unfortunately, there are very few offers of rooms with a kitchen on the net. In short, they phoned, agreed, even gave me a discount, they wanted to rent a room for 950 UAH, but since we were going for 3 weeks, we agreed for 800. They promised us that a clean, cozy and warm room would be waiting for us. But again, “it didn’t happen like that, as you guessed. ” Let's start in order. What Yulia did not deceive us about was that everything is new, no one has lived in the room yet. New crockery, stove, furniture, plasma. But here is the readiness of the room. Already when they began to move in right in front of me, it seemed like they began to wash the floors, well, if you can call it washing. When they began to derange the sofa, dust fell from the sofa. Apparently, when they hung up the TV, they forgot to remove it. Although, when they said about it, the maid came with a vacuum cleaner. The conclusion is that the repair and idea are European, and the execution is purely Ukrainian. What I can praise for is that as soon as I hinted at the dryer for washing, they gave it to me almost immediately, the same applies to chairs and a table on the balcony. What else came out of our snag, we ordered a room with air conditioning, so that in the event of a drop in temperature, we could warm the room with an air conditioner. But since it was warm outside for the first 2 weeks, we didn’t think about air conditioning. The hotel is heated, it is warm outside and in the room too. But as the temperature dropped, the room became not hot. When they asked for the remote control for the air conditioner, it turned out that they allegedly could not find it. Honestly, it was very annoying. The remote control was found by the end of the week when we started asking for an increase in the heating temperature, and then hop and the remote control materialized. What can I say, the hotel is not bad, but the novelty does not mean quality. Everything was thought very comfortable, convenient, but no service.
Living in Skholnitsa for 3 weeks, we found similar rooms for 350.400 UAH. You can also rent a room with meals for 750-850 UAH. According to reviews, a good hotel "Xenia"and "Santa Maria" . At the expense of food, they said that milk porridge in the morning, soup and porridge with meat in the afternoon, and porridge in the evening. I talked to several mothers on the site, they say they liked it. But for example, my family doesn’t like milk, so mine would go hungry. ) But if you don’t have water cooks like mine in your family, then it’s very cool to come and not bother with cooking.
What else I encountered was the incompetence of administrators in med. complex "Three sons and daughters". It just so happened that we came with a sick daughter. Everyone vied with each other to advise me to turn to this honey. complex. Like the best doctors. I found a phone number, called to ask for a pediatrician. I think mothers will understand me that after 2 days of the road I really wanted the child to be listened to and not to miss the moment when a simple cough goes down to bronchitis. I called Three Sons and Daughters and asked for the pediatrician. Such an incompetent administrator still needs to be looked for. The question is why these girls are sitting there, if they cannot answer either about the appointment of a doctor or about the qualifications of doctors. Forgive me, of course, but when asked about qualifications, we are told by “good doctors”, that is, they could not tell me the answer either about the category of the doctor or about the experience, and in general, everything is under your personal responsibility. Seriously? ! You provide honey. services and at the same time immediately face the fact that you are not responsible for your work!! ! Frankly speaking, I didn’t want to go there right away, because there was no guarantee that the child would receive a normal consultation. But well done, at least it was not hidden.
As a result, local natives advised to contact Ostap Romanovich. The doctor seems to be good, consulted the child and suggested what kind of water is better for me and my husband to drink.
And now about the catering. It so happened that we were lucky one day when the lights were turned off along the street and since there was an electric stove in the room, we had to go somewhere to eat. We decided to have lunch at Tustan complex. We went to the cafe, the first impression is positive. Until we landed. The husband immediately grimaced, the table was wiped badly. OK. Made an order. My daughter and I went to wash our hands. The toilet is dirty. They began to cover us, laid out the appliances in cloth napkins. Napkins in hair. The child took out the cutlery, and on the spoon there were dried food residues. As a result, we packed our things and left. If they can’t wash the dishes normally, then what happens when cooking in the kitchen. The question immediately arises about the quality of services provided in this complex.
As a result, we went to "Kievan Rus". What can I say, we were pleasantly surprised by the price and quality of service. Everything was top notch. Thanks a lot, it was delicious. Nice atmosphere and friendly waiters. Goodies!
And now about the general impression of Skhidnytsia. the village is small and cozy. nature is just gorgeous, we were lucky because it was "Indian summer" for 2 weeks. We climbed all around, found purple mushrooms). Breathe in clean air. We visited Tustan. Liked the tour. And in general, the views from the mountain are very impressive. They drank water from silver springs. We drank water for healing in Skhidnitsa itself. And I can definitely say that the water works. Health really improved. So those who suffer from kidney and liver problems have a direct road to Skhidnytsia. As for entertainment, then not for everyone. As a family, we traveled a lot. We went to Drohobych. The child liked to take pictures. The places are just wonderful.
