I stayed at this hotel for two nights. There are pros and cons to living there.
Pros:
- the hotel has just been refurbished
- towels and linen are very clean
- furniture, carpeting, clean windows - no complaints
- maids work efficiently, cleaning is 5+, the bathroom sparkles
- the rooms do not stink of smoking, although there are ashtrays
- modern silent elevators
- friendly staff
- very convenient location of the hotel, in the city center.
Minuses:
- audibility is amazing: ) Any theater architect would envy. The word spoken in the room opposite (across the corridor) can be heard quite clearly, you can talk : ) What can we say about the sounds from the adjoining rooms! It seems that you can hear how they breathe in a dream
- very poor breakfasts, nowhere have I seen an assortment of poor and such stinginess in quantity. Salad "Dniester" FOR BREAKFAST! This devilish creation of raw cabbage and sausage with mayonnaise was suggested to be consumed in the morning : )))
- plumbing, although new, but the taps were so obviously saved that they do not function normally - the jet spits and splashes in all directions
- during the settlement, the administrator said that they have cold and hot water around the clock in the hotel. After that, we drained cold rusty water for 40 minutes to wait for warm water. In the future, it was still problematic to wash, because either boiling water or cold water was pouring
- the behavior of the maids. There are no complaints about cleaning, I already wrote. But good gentlemen! These ladies, working together, stood in the morning at different ends of the corridor and "talked" in such a way that one could go deaf:
- LOVE!!!
- HA!!!
- WHAT DO WE HAVE IN 721???
- I DO NOT KNOW!!!
Then one of the empty rooms would be opened and the TV turned on at full power so that they would not be bored working in other rooms. All this on the inhabited floor and right in the morning.
I asked to be quieter, I heard in response "SORRY !!! ", this was the end of the matter, the sound was not turned down, they did not stop yelling.
If this review is suddenly read by the employees of the Mir Hotel in Rivne, please do something to improve the service. You have a great foundation to become a really cool hotel - a comfortable building, a good new renovation, kind staff. With audibility in the rooms, I'm afraid it's too late to do something, but writing instructions for the maids and "giving out" something decent for breakfast is entirely within your power. Moreover, the cost of living for a city like Rivne is high - 440 UAH. for a double standard room.
