A 100% feeling of Soviet service and a favor done to us that was served remained with us after visiting the Kolyada restaurant. The table was booked in advance for dinner for 9 people.
We arrived 10 minutes early, the tables were standing upright and were not covered. Only 1 table was occupied in the hall. There are three waiters. We stood and waited for the tables to be moved and set. But these are small things compared to the attitude of the kitchen.
The kitchen brazenly weighs, portions are several times smaller than those stated in the menu. A lot of food was ordered. Doubts about the weight arose immediately, but until the last moment we did not want to spoil our festive mood, but when the last side dishes were brought out, 2 times less in weight than stated on the menu, we could not restrain ourselves. At the request to bring the scales, the waiter disappeared without an answer for 15 minutes. We asked other waiters to call ours - in response, they ignored us and buried themselves again in the phones, sitting under the wall. The outrage knew no bounds. Everything is already cold. Our waiter returned with an extra side dish and said that the kitchen just made a mistake! Moreover, the drinks were served in broken dishes (decanters and glasses). With such a level of prices - such a disrespectful attitude towards guests - is unacceptable! In a word - a complete disappointment and ruined evening! I do not recommend this place to people who appreciate the service - you will not get pleasure from rest in Kolyada!
