Mirgorod - two years later.
This time I decided to rest in Mirgorod not on a ticket, but privately or, as the people say, “savage”. Planning a vacation in July, I started organizing the rest in March. Found tempting offers on the Internet, phoned, discussed in the family, chose. We agreed with the hostess for a separate room - "white" with amenities in the estate along Beregovaya Street (as far as I remember - house No. 20, well promoted on the WWW). I call back in May - I have already forgotten everything, clients are scheduled almost before the New Year. Wow, the hostess turned out to be dishonest. What to do, time is lost.
I call up the owner of the apartment bureau "Victoria" in Mirgorod. They tell me that they will help me, they will pick up a separate apartment, they only asked me to confirm my arrival when we take the train tickets. Taught by experience, I call up every two weeks, confirm the order, and even report the address of a two-room apartment. July, 6-15 in the morning, our train arrived in Mirgorod, even from the car we hear that we are being met. We load the luggage in a taxi, we go. Force majeure emerges along the way. In connection with the arrival of NATO soldiers, there is very little free housing in Mirgorod and we are offered almost the same price for a three-room apartment in the very center of Mirgorod on Gogol Street at the entrance to the resort. It turned out one room per person. All amenities.
Why I paint in such detail - it is quite possible to relax in Mirgorod renting a house. A ticket to the sanatorium costs about UAH 6.500, which is almost UAH 20.000 for a family of three. - cool. Almost the same prices are in the sanatorium "Psyol" in V. Bogachka - isn't it cool for 21 days in the village. We rest for three with meals, excursions, souvenirs cost half the price.
Later we learned that this year the number of social insurance vouchers had decreased by 2/3, workers of sanatoriums were initially transferred part-time. But people buy vouchers, for how much, and here NATO soldiers helped, in the general sanatorium they were full. And it’s cool to watch in the mornings NATO pilots (white and not so) in uniform and boots wandering around the resort to the service - very different feelings.
Now about Mirgorod - a resort. Definitely got better. Well-groomed territory, FEM paths to the LDC and between sanatoriums are laid, the grass is mowed every two weeks, absolutely everything is watered every morning. They built a small light and music fountain. But they didn’t think of putting up signs, and now we don’t need to, we already know everything.
I tried to officially buy subscriptions to a medical beach and a pump room. The doctor said why - drink water like that, you want to go to the beach - 7 UAH. ticket, 5 UAH. without a ticket. And so they did. Once again I was convinced that the entrance to the pump room could be made free of charge, how much money tourists and vacationers bring to Mirgorod, and they have one goal - to drink some water. Yes, in general, they did not pay for entry. They chose the treatment - Mirgorod water, air, a medical beach, something in the LDC, rural vegetables, fruits, berries, positive emotions.
They ate mainly from the market: cucumbers, tomatoes, greens, fresh fish, meat, raspberries, mulberries, strawberries, koumiss, cottage cheese, fermented baked milk, etc. They were also bought up in the stores "Silpo", "Khvilinka". Of course, someone will say that dietary nutrition is a component of treatment, I agree, but for three of us, food in the canteen of Khorol could cost us 5.5-6.5 thousand hryvnias. Yes, and in the accounting department of the sanatorium they looked at us with surprise. At the canteen, some kid said after a “delicious dinner” - “mom, I want to eat”, and adults with sarcasm - “two more days of such food and I can’t stand it anymore” or to the canteen workers “give the borscht recipe, I’ll come home and punish the children in disobedience. "
Between water intakes - a medical beach, boating, catamaran, fishing. We found a good place on the river opposite the sanatorium of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, several fishing trips, fried, freshly caught fish, swimming and just a picnic - shish kebab.
Concerts. Watched brothers Ponomarenko, Igor Khristenko, gr. Freestyle. I had to take part in the concert of Igor Khristenko - the hall was torn apart.
Of course we took excursions. Dibrivsky stud farm - not bad. After visiting the farm, they got hooked on koumiss, it is sold in Mirgorod in a kiosk opposite the entrance to the resort and only there. Cherevki village, smerekova church - a place with good energy, my girls really liked it. The estate of the Muravyov-Apostles in the village of Khomutets.
He himself organized excursions to Lubny - the Mgarsky Monastery. By bus to Lubny - a short walk around the town; by taxi to the monastery - monastery, skete, monument-bell; by taxi to the station; to Mirgorod by train. It turns out exactly two times cheaper than buying a tour. This money was spent on medicinal monastic herbs - teas, monastic gingerbreadsiii-super, monastic kvass, and something bought in the icon shop.
We went to V. Bogachka with our own eyes to see the Psyol sanatorium. 40 minutes by bus, 3 km by taxi for 10 UAH. and in a sanatorium. To buy a ticket to such a sanatorium is to shoot yourself. But if anyone is tired of a noisy hectic life, then as an option. In the pump room, she unfriendly met a soviet-looking concierge and began to vtyuhivat that the head physician personally monitors the video cameras so that they don’t drink water for free. While she was saying this, we took a sip of Bogachan's water and filled it for the way back. Small beach, forest, beautiful river. The resort did not impress. Better to Dibrivka for a couple of weeks for koumiss.
In Poltava we visited the museum of the Poltava battle. For little money we took a tour of the museum, the adjacent complex of buildings, the 3rd redoubt restored for the 300th anniversary of the Poltava battle.
Kyiv. At 6-00 in Kyiv at 22-00 back by train. We were in the water museum and visited the eternal sights - Khreschatyk, St. Andrew's uzvoz, Lavra, Sofia. Kyiv has become noticeably worse. Not very clean, but the uzvoz is a complete mess.
At the military airfield of Mirgorod, they arranged a type of air show with a display of equipment, including American. They did not dare to perform demonstrations, they say that someone crashed while preparing for the air show.
Business cards, the schedule of excursions with prices in 2011, scanned and placed in the photo, maybe it will come in handy for someone.
And, of course, "evil" establishments.
At the entrance to the resort cafe "Phoenix Coffee House". Do not go there, there is not Ukrainian cuisine, but Kugut. Not tasty, dangerous, expensive. Arguments - a hodgepodge in their language: two tablespoons of boiled potatoes and pickles "a la Olivier" filled with a bouillon cube. My liver really didn't like it. Of course, if someone takes it seriously on his chest, then he will roll.
On the other side of the entrance to the resort is the "Recreation Studio" establishment. Mainly focused on oriental cuisine, but "we don't have chopsticks, eat with a fork. " So, for a change, you can go. The joke of the institution - the entrance to the cafe is paid - the bill includes the cost of "live bleating" music, and not from the order, but by the number of participants (10 UAH per person), and no one cares how your hearing is.
Once again we were convinced that the best restaurant in Mirgorod and not only is “Cossack Rozvagi”. "Schira" national cuisine, fresh quality products, friendly service. Justified prices. Comfort, color, see for yourself. We have a family date in August and we celebrate it with a certain type of champagne (we bring it with us), and this time we were understood and everything was settled. Even the celebration of a family date for three with a Ukrainian order did not exceed UAH 300. Good luck with this establishment. And as a wish - there is not enough colorful Ukrainian musical accompaniment.
Well, the main thing is that the rest was a success. Mirgorodskaya Vodichka is a real natural balm.
