Myrhorod is a flourishing town of our country
Traveling abroad is always interesting! But the global epidemic has made its adjustments and universal chaos, even in our daily lives, not to mention tourist life. Well, here it is, "we have what we have. " Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to find a way out of this situation so as not to turn your life into a routine existence, because man is not an animal, in addition to eating and sleeping, he needs to develop culturally and rest in addition to hard work. Based on the above, during the pandemic we traveled exclusively on Ukrainian routes, one of which was the roads of Poltava region, namely the city of Myrhorod, where we spent two wonderful weeks of our vacation.
Why Myrhorod? Well, first, summer is coming again soon, and in addition to sea relaxation, there are also lovers of rest in the mountains, in the woods, on the river, near the lake.
Last year we preferred the mountains and admired the Carpathians, and last year we decided to visit Myrhorod and combine a vacation on the Khorol River with preventive treatment in a sanatorium. We share our impressions with the readership. I would like to emphasize at once that it is inappropriate to compare the Carpathians and Poltava region, because there are two completely different regions.
Myrhorod is a famous resort in Poltava region, you could even say a health resort with many medical institutions. The city center is small, but it is here that the four most famous sanatoriums "Myrhorod", "Poltava", "Khorol" and "Birch Grove" are located. At the intersection of these health resorts, in the center is a place of cultural leisure, where vacationers arrange a promenade.

I named Myrhorod - the city of flowers, because in fact, flowers bloom everywhere, causing a smile and pleasure on your face.

The first time we gathered in these parts, our friends were skeptical that it was a hole, and there was absolutely nothing to do there, poverty is mortal. But after visiting Myrhorod, they first decided to settle in the center of the resort in the sanatorium "Poltava".
So, in 2015, there was a hum like a beehive, and seeing this human swarm, I asked, is there such violence everywhere? Maybe there is something more comfortable? Then I was advised to sanatorium. Gogol, located outside the city, in the forest-park zone. And we went to Mykola Vasyliovych. There was such peace and quiet that there was a feeling of a family resort.
This time the sanatorium met us as old acquaintances. I do not want to stratify and sing praises and ode, so that it does not look like a publicity event, but still note that since the hours of our past stay, there have been changes for the better, and it is very pleasing. That time we were satisfied with absolutely everything except food. I'm not picky at all in this aspect, I can happily eat ordinary porridge, but for some reason they stuffed mivina seasoning everywhere and seasoned everything possible with uktsom.
So from this time I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement in the food system. I did not even expect such a diet, remembering past dinners.
Check-in took place in such a way as to accommodate one person per room, but for couples there was an exception, and we were accommodated according to the standard scheme. Next to us, in the next room settled two handsome men who did not look like a married couple. And in the dining room it turned out that it is also our food neighbors. The boys were very cheerful and witty. It turned out that they were two godparents from western Ukraine, who immediately invited us to go with them to the city in the evening to celebrate the beginning of the holiday (well, so that the road does not burn). My husband was very happy with such company, but I slightly reduced the degree of his satisfaction, reminding that we came not only to rest, but also to get some treatment.
To this he replied that one does not interfere with the other, and if I do not want, I can not go. Yes now! I will not give you such pleasure, because then for all the days of treatment you will accept only one procedure - alcohol therapy. Well, we went to the Cossack entertainment for the holiday of the beginning of the holiday. It should be noted that the complex is quite interesting, plays live music, and the kitchen, by the way, is also delicious. Therefore, who will be in Myrhorod, I recommend the hotel - entertainment complex "Cossack Entertainment" to take into account. We liked it.
The company was really great, I think I lived a little, but it was to their advantage. At least someone had to control the treatment and rest. Every day after the procedures, we went to the beach. The beach area is quite good, with sunbeds and a shower (everything was included in the price). You can rent a catamaran or bicycle.
Not far from the beach in the sanatorium we also set up a recreation area where you can fry kebabs and relax in a cozy gazebo, which we did. I don't want to disappoint Western Ukrainian guys with my photos, so I'll make them a photo shop as much as possible. Although with respect to them, I note that women can safely let them go to any resort, because they always told what they have beautiful and wonderful beloved wives and children, and to go "left" was not even a hint. And we had a lot of fun with them, we love such positive people!
For romantics arranged a house of love (a kind of village vaudeville in the hay). But, considering that the godparents were resting exclusively together, and my husband and I were already in the same place, the house was empty.
In the morning we went to training. I'm from Nordic walking, a man from swimming. By the way, the sanatorium has a large pool, a little smells of chlorine, but in general, quite good.
Evenings, there was always animation. Well, first of all, a kind of disco a la the seventies, where a dozen grandmothers stomped on the famous hits of Oleg Vinnik. There were some movies in the cinema, mostly stupid comedies, but you could watch them for nothing. Animators organized various competitions, such as Guess the melody and Alo, we are looking for talent. So, in principle, in the sanatorium there was a very active life, and the fact that the country is a pandemic, reminded only of face masks. If you did not want to sing or dance, you could just walk along the long promenade, or even go fishing.

For travel enthusiasts, there is a tour desk that offers a variety of educational and entertainment tours. Last time we went to Poltava and the Sorochyn Fair, but this year, due to quarantine restrictions, we did not use the tours. However, we were fully satisfied with the rest.
