The rooms (I had a suite on the 3rd floor) do not have mosquito nets. In summer, opening windows at night (more precisely, a balcony door, since the windows do not open) is unrealistic. Mosquitoes bite. And you don’t want to catch a cold under the air conditioner running all night.
I talked with other people who also have been resting here for many years. Everyone says it got worse.
In addition, it is extremely inconvenient that there is no terminal. I am simply afraid every time on the road with that kind of money.
From the pros.
* Friendly staff
* the maids immediately solved the problems in my room (the shower broke, the light bulb burned out),
* waitresses work quickly
* deluxe food is good (always meat, fish, sausage, sandwiches with caviar)
* good green area
Next year I will look for an alternative as the price rises, and the service in the sanatorium remains at the same level.
When checking out, the grandmother and the girl were delayed for 10 minutes, left at 8.10, on the eve of departure they were not warned about a new arrival at 8.00 - Larisa calls with threats and screams, which will now make everyone feel bad. How can you keep such unbalanced people in the administration of the Sanatorium?
The administration should be able to resolve the conflict and get out of any situation correctly, and not to grind at any trifle
In place of the Directorate of the sanatorium, I would have trained staff or hired more polite people to work
Until 2018, we went to the Sanatorium. Gogol for 5 years in a row, after this case we will consider other options, as the price level is growing, and the service remains at the level of the 90s
Food - tin. Of course, I love canteen food, but what it was like here is awful....breakfast, lunch, dinner - wheat porridge with a tasteless bread cutlet. And only after 4 days they will bring you the food that you order (by the way, it will not differ much from what they bring by default, just sometimes you will eat mashed potatoes without oil, sticky pasta - depending on what you order). and then eat what you have cooked more. The most delicious dish is buckwheat with sausage....After breakfast, I went to the city center where I refreshed myself in a cafe. On the third day, I really wanted french fries, a piece of meat !!!!!!!
They prescribe procedures - inhalations, massages, sleep to music, etc. Vacationers are railroad travelers, those who are over 50)) In principle, such food is just right for them - you don’t have to chew calories so that it’s enough to get to the procedures exactly. There are only a few young people there....Rooms are rarely cleaned. The rooms are already cold in this period, they are not heated yet.
In Mirgorod in the center there is a good restaurant "Gogol". delicious borscht in bread (45 UAH), steamed dumplings with meat (34 UAH), soup with porcini mushrooms (36 UAH). Pts cook tasty although the prices are Kiev.
Liked: a large beautiful area with access to the river; swimming pool 25 * 12 (not included in the price of the tour, but I think 25 UAH per hour is quite an acceptable price); general health procedures - massage, inhalation; polite (for the most part) staff.
We lived in the simplest "block" room - the room is small, but everything works, the furniture is ordinary, relatively new, a good mattress. In general, no complaints about the room.
The sanatorium is mainly used by railroad workers on "their own" vouchers, so it is not oriented towards external consumers.
The most frustrating thing was the food.
1. It is declared as dietary, and it seems that they cook here according to the principle "food should in no case be tasty, so that the vacationer does not hit gluttony. " Almost everything that is cooked can be eaten, but not tasty. Most of all, the local cuisine resembled a kindergarten canteen.
2. The menu mainly consists of different types of cereals - oatmeal, barley, millet, buckwheat - potatoes and cutlets, which, although they are called "cue", "steak", are still cutlets.
3. Although we were in autumn at the height of seasonal vegetables, no zucchini, eggplant, peppers, etc. was not in any form. Fruit - 1 time for lunch in the form of 1 apple or a small bunch of grapes.
4. The menu in the sanatorium is "custom", but! the order is accepted for 3 days, so those who come for a few days will have to eat for the most part what they have cooked more.
On the other hand, a great place for those who want to lose weight : )
From "Gogol" you can walk in 40 minutes to the center of Mirgorod, or take a minibus to take a walk and eat normally - which we basically did.
The territory is very beautiful and clean (full of flowers and cute monuments of Gogol's heroes)
The food in the sanatorium is of course dietary, but for that it is also a sanatorium for the treatment of the gastrointestinal tract. But my son and I really liked it, the food is high-calorie and healthy, we ate quite.
The rooms are also in good condition. There is a mirror, a wardrobe, 2 beds, 2 bedside tables, a TV with Russian channels and 2 chairs, a carpet on the floor. There is a toilet and a bathroom for two rooms.
They cleaned our room every day, and I must say they cleaned it very cleanly and well. Yes, I forgot that every room has a balcony.
